Introduction
I still consider both of these drones, some of the best I’ve seen so far, and they are both very, very, very solid options. I would recommend any of them too and, as always, remember to like, subscribe and comment on this video.
Unboxing the Geprc Cinebot 25
Once again. Today we have an unexpected drone from Gart, their new cinebot 25 and its just crazy to me. They released another sub 250 gram, 2.5 in cine whoop. I mean I reviewed the Cog 25 like two months ago and already they popping out a new cine whoop its crazy. I expected any other drone instead of this one, but I guess we will have more option for cine whoops, so not bad lets open the box and see whats inside. First of all, I love the new garty boxes, design. They are just very cleverly made you have these accessory boxes and removing this panel, you can see the Drone down. There lets take a look inside the accessory boxes, all three instructions: two different size of battery straps extra screws, a CNC, aluminum heat sink for your HD camera or three cadex vist or whatever. This is incredible: wow and a very high quality injection molded naked GoPro Mount lets. Take a a look at the other accessory box. You get an extra set of HQ props, DT 63 by4. These are very, very smooth for cine whoops, a very comprehensive Parts, bag, a ton of extra screws, spare grommets for the camera, soft Mount M2 hexagonal screw and a Sim ejector tool. This is the first time I see that the usual gardy carbon fiber keychain and two battery pads, one you have to put on your drone. One is spare under the Drone. There is a bag with the stickers and all the instructions, uh flight controller, pin outs and warranty cards before I show you the Drone, please remember to like subscribe and comment on this video.
Impressive Features of the Geprc Cinebot 25
Geprc Cinebot 25 comes with a range of impressive features that make it stand out in the world of cine whoops. With a sub-250 gram weight and a 2.5-inch size, this drone is compact and lightweight, perfect for capturing cinematic footage in tight spaces. The inclusion of high-quality accessory boxes, extra battery straps, HQ props, and a CNC aluminum heat sink for the HD camera demonstrates Geprc’s attention to detail and commitment to providing a comprehensive package for drone enthusiasts. The addition of a naked GoPro Mount further enhances the versatility of this drone.
Flight Performance and Handling
When it comes to flight performance and handling, the Geprc Cinebot 25 does not disappoint. With smooth HQ props and spare grommets for the camera, this drone offers stability and precision, ideal for capturing stunning aerial shots. The inclusion of a soft Mount M2 hexagonal screw ensures that vibrations are minimized, resulting in smooth and professional-looking footage. Additionally, the
Build Quality
Geprc has truly stepped up their game when it comes to the build quality of the Cinebot 25. Unlike other drones that may have 3D printed parts, the Cinebot 25 is all injection molded. This gives it a more premium feel and makes it more resistant to damage. The unibody duct design is thin, light, and has a bit of flex, which is actually a good thing. The material used for the drone feels superior and the antenna mount and camera assembly are also injection molded, adding to the overall durability of the drone.
Design
The design of the Cinebot 25 is both sleek and robust. The top carbon plate is 2.5mm thick and painted black, giving it a premium and stylish look. The double arms on the drone provide a lot of stiffness, along with the overall design of the frame. The design not only looks amazing but also ensures that the drone is incredibly stiff during flight, making for smooth and stable footage.
Specifications
One of the standout features of the Cinebot 25 are its specifications. The drone is packed with high-quality components that make it a top performer in its class. From the powerful motors to the high-resolution camera, every aspect of the drone has been carefully selected to provide the best possible cinematic experience for the pilot. With its impressive specs, the Cinebot 25 is truly a force to be reckoned with in the world of cinewhoops.
Build and Design
The Geprc Cinebot 25 features hooks made of CNC aluminum. On the bottom, they have given out to the O3 system with a plug made of injection molded silicon, ensuring that it remains secure. The design allows for full access while maintaining airflow and preventing debris from entering the ports.
Convenience Features
The xt30 sits flush on the back plate, providing convenience for users. The flight controller, USBC, and boot button are all routed to the back, with the addition of a silicon cover for protection. However, the three camera mount may not be as well-protected, as it is not soft mounted and could potentially detach in the event of a crash.
Naked GoPro Mount
The naked GoPro mount attaches directly to the top plate, unlike the soft-mounted option in the Cog 25. While this design may be sturdier and less prone to jello effects, users looking for a softer mount may prefer the Cog 25 for the naked GoPro option.
Design Features
The Geprc Cinebot 25 offers some key design features that set it apart from other cinewhoops on the market. The GoPro Mount placement provides added protection, although it may need adjustment for optimal performance. Additionally, the optional heat sink adds a premium feel to the drone and can help dissipate heat from the system, particularly in hotter climates.
Specifications
This cinewhoop measures 120 mm motor to motor and weighs 173 grams, slightly heavier than the Calog 25. With the right battery, the drone can reach up to 150 grams, which may limit the ability to carry a naked GoPro while using the O3 system. The trend towards heavier drones raises concerns, prompting a call for lighter options in the sub-250 gram category.
Flight Controller and Motors
The Geprc Cinebot 25 is equipped with a Taker G4 all-in-one flight controller with 45 amps ES, providing reliable control during flight. The motors are Get Partyspeedex second version 1404 4600 KV, offering comparable performance to the Calog 25’s 4500 KV motors. For those looking for additional power, the drone is also available with 1505 4300 KV motors, although this may increase the weight beyond the sub-250 gram limit.
Battery Recommendation
The Geprc Cinebot 25 is recommended to be flown with a 720 lithium high voltage battery, such as the one recommended by artc. This battery keeps the drone at a weight of 245 grams, so using a 750 milliamp battery might push it over the sub-250 mark. It is advised not to use any battery bigger than the recommended one to avoid going over the weight limit.
Flight Performance
During the flight test, the Geprc Cinebot 25 proved to be stable and agile. The drone flew straight, with minimal jello effect and no noticeable prop wash. It also showcased impressive acro capabilities, leaning slightly towards a more acro-oriented flying style compared to the Clog 25 model.
Tuning and Handling
The Geprc Cinebot 25 is well-tuned out of the box, providing a smooth flying experience. However, there were occasional shakes noted during flight, especially in aggressive maneuvers. Despite this, the drone remains flyable and responsive, with clean sound and minimal prop wash issues.
Design Considerations
The frame design of the Geprc Cinebot 25 suggests a more acro-oriented flying style, which may explain the slight differences in flight characteristics compared to previous models. Despite this, the drone handles well and offers a satisfying flying experience overall.
Scraggle Land Test
I see there is a cut down there, but its also scrug land. Since I review I have chosen something: oh my God, this is scraggle land for sure. Oh, this is a nice way to bring the cats back home.
Flight Performance
As you can see, home is a very safe place for the cats. There is a little bit too much uh too less Expo for my taste. It also seems to be not that bad efficiency wise with this battery, even though we are discharging it. Its a nice smooth, EXP experience.
Comparison with Cog 25
I will make another video comparing this with the Cog 25, because my mind is like: why do we need both drones? They do the same thing. Maybe the cinebot 25, with the bigger motor, is a better option for the people who want to have a more powerful 2.5 in. I can see it will rival the FPV 25.
Design and Build Quality
This drone has a very, very, very good design, its premium and well thought out. You can access the SD card easily and there is no Jello whatsoever. However, it doesnt have a soft mount on the GoPro.
Efficiency and Battery Life
After flying the Geprc Cinebot 25 for over 4 minutes, the efficiency and battery life seem impressive. Despite the quick battery drain, with 720 milliamps, the drone managed to last about 5 minutes. Switching to an 850-milliamp battery revealed even better results, with a flying time that exceeded expectations.
Aesthetics and Weight
On the downside, the initial flight left the drone covered in leaves and dirt. The weight of the drone is also a concern, being 270 grams and above the preferred 250-gram range. Lighter weight drones would offer more flexibility and choice for users.
Flight Performance and Sound
Despite its weight, the Geprc Cinebot 25 delivers impressive flight performance. With heavier batteries, the drone flies cleaner and better, offering a smoother experience. The tuning for the 850-milliamp battery seems spot-on, providing a good balance between speed and agility.
Amperage and Pushing Limits
One advantage of using bigger batteries like the 850 milliamps is the ability to push the drone to its limits. With increased amperage, the drone can handle more aggressive maneuvers and still perform well. This allows for more dynamic flying and experimentation with different flight styles.
Control and Handling
The Geprc Cinebot 25 offers a more controllable flight experience compared to the Calog 25. The design of the drone with a stiffer, unibody frame means there are fewer moving parts, leading to improved handling and control. This makes flying the drone feel smoother and more precise, allowing for better maneuverability in tight spaces.
Motor Power and Speed
While the Cinebot 25 may be more focused on fun and ripping around the garden, its potential for bigger motor versions suggests that it could provide a thrilling high-speed experience. With the right upgrades, this drone could easily transform into a rocket-like flyer, similar to the BPV model. The added power and speed would make it a dynamic and exciting option for those looking for a more exhilarating flight experience.
Versatility and Camera Use
Although the Cinebot 25 is geared more towards fun and enjoyment, it still offers the option to attach a naked GoPro for capturing aerial footage. While the Calog 25 may be more versatile in terms of camera use, this drone is ideal for individuals seeking a more adrenaline-fueled flying experience. Whether it’s flying for pleasure or using it as a mini cinewhoop, the Cinebot 25 delivers on both fronts, offering versatility and entertainment.
Comparative Analysis
When comparing the Geprc Cinebot 25 to the Calog 25, it’s clear that both drones have their unique strengths. The Calog 25 excels in versatility and camera capabilities, making it an excellent choice for those focused on aerial photography and videography. On the other hand, the Cinebot 25 shines in terms of responsiveness and agility, providing a more dynamic and thrilling flight experience. Whether you prefer versatility and functionality or excitement and speed, both drones offer impressive features and performance.
Battery Performance
Try luck again: wow, okay, no I’m not lucky! I destroyed the battery lets coming for a Music Landing 4 minutes of flying with the bigger battery, but this time I was pushing a lot harder, so it Fly time depends on what you do. Basically, if you fly a little bit more conservative with this kind of battery, you can probably do eight minutes if you fly very steadily, but if you start pushing well you’re going to drain the battery out time.
Build Quality
For my final opinion on the Geprc Cinebot 25, the build quality is amazing. They really improved it. There are no more 3D printed parts and it feels incredibly solid and well put together. It flies very well for this class, pushing when needed and remaining stable and steady. The access to components is also convenient, adding to the overall quality of the drone.
Differences Between Models
The only thing I cannot wrap my head around is why Geprc felt the need to release both of these drones so close together. They are essentially the same thing with similar motors, flight controllers, and noise levels. The Cinebot 25 may be slightly better in Agro mode and is more oriented towards accommodating a GoPro with its soft Mount to reduce vibration.
Super Similar Yet Versatile!
Maybe in low light, but they are super similar and what this can do. This can do, and this can what this can do. This can do. The version of this with the bigger Motors is going to be more powerful, but guess what you can put the same Motors on this one and have this more powerful at that point and its super weird, because these drones are among the best in their class. They are incredibly wellmade super versatile, yet I feel like companies should start looking at what is the use case we need instead of lets, make the most high quality drone we can and then, when you put a if you put a naked GoPro on any of these Two drones, or even the other 2.5 Ines that have come out in the last couple of years, youre going to never be up to 150 gram.
Utilizing the Cinebot 25 for Cinematic Shots
You have to make the O3 naked, remove screws and use super tiny batteries and still youre going to have a super hard time being sub to 150, and at that point I think we have to focus on. Why do we need these 2.5 in drones, because these drones were born for carrying naked GoPros, basically and be up to 150, while doing so? Because if you can be above, it then use whatever you want? You can use a 6S sin Lo 35 and its pretty much fine, also here in about 30, this thing can carry a full GoPro with 6s no problem and thats all for today.
Comparison Between Calog 25 and Cinebot 25
Let me know if you like this drone, which one you will choose between the calog 25 and the cinebot 25. Both of these drones have their own unique features and capabilities. The Calog 25 may excel in certain aspects while the Cinebot 25 may have its strengths in other areas. It really comes down to your personal preferences and what you prioritize in a Cinewhoop.
