The Bad Review
This was the ca X kit. Let me tell you: it was an absolute nightmare. I slammed it. I said some things like this: why would you want a button that makes everything not work on your radio, it’s stupid? That is so dumb that it’s on the radio? I really hate that, if you’re a newcomer coming into this, this is going to really put somebody off and frankly I thought the kit was absolute garbage. I did not enjoy it, it does not help people get into the Hobby and it pissed me off, because I wanted people to have a great time now.
The Response
A lot of people comment and often say Stuart. What is the relationship like when you give a bad review? How the companies respond – and this is where you are going to be pleasantly – surprised, Stuart. We hope the email finds you well, they take all feedback sincerely and they would like to apologize for the bad experience I had with the kit good because uh the kit sucked, I did not enjoy it at all and then they said uh. They would like a chance to explain some of their misunderstandings. They talked about the firmware and those sorts of things, and we had a bit of a back and forth of discussion.
The Resolution
But then the important part, which I think you guys need to see as well, was this right here they said. Lastly, we respect all your opinions and the fruits of your labor and that’s.
Reevaluating the Cooperation
After a negative review, it is not uncommon for companies to reassess their products and processes. However, in some cases, the relationship between the reviewer and the company can take a surprising turn.
A Company’s Response
Despite the initial setback of a bad review, the company in question chose not to give up on their long-term cooperation relationship. This decision demonstrates a willingness to learn and improve from criticism, which is commendable in the business world.
Sending Out a New Kit
Following the feedback from the initial review, the company decided to send out a third kit for evaluation. This new kit, the betaflight version of the cedus X, aimed to address the issues highlighted in the original review and showcase improvements made by the company.
Field Testing the Kit
Upon receiving the new kit, the reviewer decided to take it out to the field for testing. This marked the fourth time the product had been evaluated, and the results were significantly different. The company’s willingness to listen to feedback and make changes had a noticeable impact on the product’s performance.
Lessons Learned
Through this experience, important lessons were learned both by the reviewer and the company. It highlighted the value of constructive criticism and the positive outcomes that can result from it. It also emphasized the importance of continuous improvement and actively seeking feedback from customers.
Turning a Negative into a Positive
By acknowledging and addressing the issues raised in the initial review, the company was able to transform a subpar product into one that was enjoyable and well-received by customers. This demonstrates the power of embracing feedback and using it as a tool for growth and development.
Super Steve’s Evaluation
Do it lets go out to the field were going to see super Steve out there as well see what he thinks and have some suggestions which I guarantee would be absolutely gamechanging if beta fpv just changed their mind a little bit on the ways to do things.
Setting the Stage
Thanks to editing, we got uh super Steve right here. It is time Im putting that on the ground its time for take three of the cus X, the infamous cus yeah. So what did you think about the first one? We tried this a couple of times didnt. We troller was biggest let down, then the video Yeah drone itself didnt seem too bad.
Testing the Drone
Well thats. What were here to test out today, Im going to crank the camera angle, cuz were at whoop heaven and I dont have to talk about the goggles or I dont have to talk about anything Im using my own stuff here. It all fits like a dream it. I know its not digital, but its such a shock going back to analog, sometimes now wheres my patch antenna facing facing me. Okay, now I got to start my DVR, which I think is on this one. I do love the skyone manual. All right lets do it. We are armed just in manual mode here, just going to take it for a little cruise and do we clear out this way Steve? Can you see no, no traic, all right? I am going to give it a little pop for throttle because thats, not terrible like I felt like the Drone, was probably the strongest part that was let down by the kit itself.
First Impressions
It doesn’t sound like it’s screaming Motors or anything, so let’s go for a little bit out here. We are on 25 M, and again it is hard to see versus digital. That was a big spiderweb there, but let’s do a little bit of a speed test down this way. That wasn’t even full stick, yeah it’s going alright.
Criticism on Performance
You know – and I always felt like this – was the strongest part, I would say the cedus kit or the cedus X drone is massively let down by. However, they’ve set it up like the radio is actually okay and I don’t really like the goggles but the radio just the way it was set up with like binding it and like having those stupid, VTX channels and everything disappearing. It was the worst beginner kit of a good bit of gear.
Bad Analogies
I don’t even know what’s a good analogy for that. It’s like getting all these beautiful ingredients to make an amazing pizza, but you stick it in a blender and then say, “here you go it’s everything you need for a beautiful pizza, but we’ve blended it together and now it’s not going to taste good.” It’s like knowing you’re going to break it or lose it in some water.
Optimistic Testing
If I go around here, let’s try and do a couple little flippy, floppy and a power loop. I reckon I can power loop this bad boy. Alright, I’m going to do some Little Orbits here, man, it’s got plenty of Pop. Yeah, sounds like it’s going good. And the flight times are actually pretty good as well.
The Importance of Functionality in FPV Drones
I wish I could fly my kit that it came with out of the box like this, like it would be so much better. This is what people need to get an fpv, a drone that feels like this and Im, not saying they need these goggles or they need this radio, but they need it to be able to work. They want it just to like I dont know, thats thats uh, their biggest. Let down would be to fpv is theyve got theyve got an okay craft here, theyve got an okay, uh radio, sorry I cant fly and talk, but uh its just let down by those.
A Positive Experience with the Cedus X Drone
So let me bring this in see if I can practice my line of sight skills here uh I cant Im going to say thumbs up for the cedus X. I actually really liked the Drone itself completely. Let down down by the others then well hand over to Steve, see what he thinks and then I guess the important part is the message we send back to Beta fpv like theyve got something good what they need to hear and what all companies should do.
The Role of Reviews in Shaping Feedback for Improvement
Radio, Okay, Steve your turn to rip this. Did you like it last time no mate, I didnt even get a chance to fly the pro. Why? Because the radio, the video it was all a nightmare. What about the first time we we tried so two times ago. Did you get a chance that time nope? Why not cuz nothing worked yeah, so I got to say it is working lets.
Off to the Races
Do it uh Ill plug this in and well send you Off to the Races, youre good to go well were more successful than last time. Anyway. Yeah, it seems pretty good in the air. You definitely feel the weight of it like, as opposed to a 2s micro. This is 2s yeah yeah, but like a micro wood, you, okay, yep, like I run a um mob 7 on 2s mob 8 on 2s yeah, okay, but not a bad thing gives you a good feel of purchase in the air.
Different Form Factor
I guess: do you feel like your mob 8 uh handles better than this yeah? What battery size is the mob is the mob 8 um. What do you run it on 550, 650, okay, yeah, but relatively compartible did bit of a different form factor and that’s digital, but this is analog. It is yeah.
Radio Comparison
I think the biggest thing with this St is what radio were holding in our hands right now. Yes, you know, for this kit being aimed at people coming into the hobby, been able to learn well they’re, not they can’t learn to set a radio up. They can’t learn to set a model up: yeah. Can’t customize, anything on those old beta. Yes, radio!
Terrible Execution
Look! I don’t hate the radio, but I hate that the way that it was all programmed and worked together, like it just yeah, was such terrible execution. In my opinion, I don’t know what you guys think as well, but also being able to tune this or plug it.
Customer Feedback and Response
In the world of consumer products, customer feedback plays a crucial role in improving and refining the quality of a brand’s offerings. Beta FPV recently received a bad review regarding their rates on beta flight. The customer expressed dissatisfaction with certain aspects of the product, highlighting the need for simplification and user-friendliness.
Addressing Concerns
After receiving the negative review, Beta FPV took action to address the customer’s concerns. They acknowledged the feedback and recognized the importance of listening to their customers in order to enhance the overall user experience. The company took the criticism constructively and saw it as an opportunity for improvement.
Improvement and Innovation
Following the bad review, Beta FPV made changes to their product design and functionality. They focused on simplifying the features and ensuring that the user interface was more intuitive. By incorporating customer suggestions and feedback, the company was able to enhance the product and create a more user-friendly experience for consumers.
Results and
As a result of listening to customer feedback and addressing the issues raised in the bad review, Beta FPV was able to improve their product and enhance customer satisfaction. This demonstrates the importance of actively engaging with customers and valuing their opinions in order to drive innovation and growth within a brand.
Improvements for Beginners
If I can catch it make sure you disarm on the other one: hey Landing: weve had yeah thats the best flight weve had final final thoughts, y or n on the quad itself. If I got this as a beginner coming in and being able to do it cuz, I slowed my rates down as a learner. Trying to learn Acro in this is this is like the default betaflight version as well, thats and thats a difference to understand.
Importance of Firmware
It is not the cus uh what its called like the own, their own flight control, their own firmware. This is Rocky. This is the cedus X pro with beta flight firmware, and this is important too, on the kit, so this is for beta FP.
Feedback on Hardware
What do you think was the weakest part of the entire kit, not not the how it went together out of the three products, the hardware wise, let say the radio I think, piss off. I cannot State this enough, get rid of all those VTX channels get rid of like that stupid change it on a button. Have it if you’re going to set it up, have a little marking on the radio that says maybe change channel. If you are insistent having it have four channels have the goggles only can pick up those four channels, so it’s not convoluted there is no around like, even if you’re not setting it up I’m, not against having a kit that does everything or like is all done for you, so you can enjoy flying I’m just against stupid decisions getting in the way and beta flight said beta fpv said to me, maybe it’s my experience in flying drones and I’m so ingrained in Betaflight, maybe that’s.
Feedback and Criticism
Why am I getting it wrong? I don’t know, what do you think of that? No, I think it’s just convoluted and doesn’t make sense and there are some poor decisions there.
A Call for Improvement
So, a big shout out to Beta FPV and if you’ve got some comments that you think they need to hear, please put them down below because I guarantee they’re going to be watching this video, very specifically looking for any ways to improve.
A Clear Message
For me, the long and short – and let me know if I’m wrong here, but I just want a kit that works. Get rid of all those unnecessary features. Beta FPV, get rid of all those channels and the custom firmware and all that stuff. If you insist on having those, just make it simpler. That is a nightmare. Get that off your radio. You just want the thing to work, because the drone itself is actually quite good. So that would be my number one way to improve this kit.
Positive Example
The video is a great example of a craft that works. Fantastic out of the box. You can go and watch that and again, big thumbs up for Beta FPV for not chucking a hissy fit and taking it on the chin and looking at ways to improve in the future.
The Bad Review
The day started off like any other for the small family-run restaurant in town. The staff had been working hard to ensure that the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. However, when a customer left a scathing review online, the mood quickly changed. The review criticized the quality of the food, the slow service, and even went as far as to say that they would not be returning.
Unexpected Turn of Events
Instead of wallowing in despair over the bad review, the restaurant owner decided to take a different approach. They reached out to the customer who left the review, apologizing for their experience and asking for a chance to make it right. The customer was surprised by the response and agreed to give the restaurant another try.
A Second Chance
When the customer returned to the restaurant, they were greeted warmly by the staff. The owner personally took their order and made sure that everything was perfect. The chef even came out to apologize for the previous experience and offered to prepare a special dish for the customer to try.
A Happy Ending
After their meal, the customer was so impressed by the turnaround that they left a glowing review online. They praised the owner and staff for their dedication to customer satisfaction and admitted that they had been too quick to judge based on their initial experience. The restaurant saw a surge in new customers following the positive review and business has been booming ever since.
