What’s Inside the Box
In the box, I was pleasantly surprised to find a hard case that can protect the drone during transport. Additionally, there were spare blades, blade protectors, a controller unit, a screwdriver, and one battery included. Despite some spelling mistakes in the instructions, they were easy to understand.
Setting Up and Flying Experience
As I took the drone to the beach on a calm day, it seemed to take off smoothly on its first flight. The setup process was relatively straightforward, and the controller was easy to handle. The drone responded well to commands and maneuvered effectively during flight.
Video Quality
The K10 Max drone is equipped with three cameras and offers 360-degree infrared obstacle avoidance. The video quality was impressive, capturing clear and sharp footage. Whether capturing aerial views or recording on the ground, the drone delivered high-quality video results.
Value for Money
With varying offers and prices, the K10 Max drone from TEMU provides excellent value for money. Despite its affordable price, it comes packed with numerous features that enhance the flying experience. From the sturdy build to the advanced camera capabilities, this drone offers a lot for its price tag.
Initial Testing
It tended to just want to turn left. So I uh made sure the Headless mode was off and I pressed the automatic adjustments to make sure that we’ve got um the system not just trying to force it one way: directionally, however, it still just wanted to take off and head east for some reason. The Drone appeared to be extremely fast in Only One Direction and struggle to travel in the other direction.
Challenges Faced
So when I’m pulling back here, I’m trying to get it to head back towards me at full speed, uh – and this is the response that it gave just when you thought you had the Drone in control. It will do a little surprising thing like just suddenly it’ll see something in the distance and it’ll decide just going to have look over Music there.
Troubleshooting
So after stopping, resetting and making sure I’d got all the settings correct, I had another go at it. So initially it took off, but wouldn’t uh gain altitude and the direction just seemed to be all off again uh. I turned headless mode on and off to make sure that wasn’t the problem, so this time it started to fly off uh without any control from me.
Final Attempt
It just seemed to be having a good look around, very nearly hit that silver car. Third attempt off she goes, um not sure wanted to land, wanted to go backwards, wanted to go forwards, decided it want to have a little rest here before it got into it.
False Sense of Security
Upon testing the K10 Max Drone from TEMU, it quickly became apparent that there was a false sense of security. Despite initial appearances of having control, the drone proved to be unstable in flight.
Onboard Camera Quality
The onboard camera of the drone records directly to your phone, but the claims of HD video quality were greatly exaggerated. The video footage captured was of low quality, similar to that of a 2000s-era mobile phone.
Flight Instability
During flight attempts, the drone displayed instability and wobbling in the air, even in calm conditions. This led to difficulties in capturing usable video footage and ultimately resulted in a sudden power loss and a 100-foot nose dive to the ground.
Quality and Performance
Based on the review of the K10 Max drone from TEMU, it seems that the quality and performance of the drone are subpar. The reviewer expressed disappointment in the drone’s performance and stated that it was not worth the investment.
