Let’s dive into the unboxing of the DJI AVATA 2 flym drone. A special shoutout to my friends at DJ Store, Metepec, where I purchased this beauty. Opening something new is always a thrilling experience, and unboxing this drone is no exception. The feeling of unwrapping a new gadget is truly orgasmic. Let’s take a look at what’s inside the box.
Exploring the Accessories
The DJI AVATA 2 comes with a handy carrying case, which is super practical. The construction of the case is sturdy and has a beautiful texture, ensuring the drone is well protected. It is also water-resistant, so a few droplets of water won’t harm it. Inside the case, we find three batteries with their charging case. Although you might wonder why only two are visible, rest assured that the third one is tucked away securely in another compartment.
The Controller and New Features
Next, we have the controller. I will explain how to use it in more detail later in the video. This version of the controller comes with new features and characteristics compared to previous models. There are some new additions, such as the removable cushions, which add a touch of novelty to the design.
First Impressions
When you place it on your forehead, it has a better grip and the connectivity is supposed to be better. It also has cameras here that help us visualize the surroundings. With the goggles on, you can see both what the drone is seeing and what you are seeing through the goggles. The battery, which was missing, is here. The drone is actually very small, about the size of my hand. It is practical and the plastic feels quite sturdy.
What’s Included
Inside the backpack, you will find several items. First, the manual that needs to be read in order to understand how to use the drone and its specific features. There is a set of propellers in case they break, a Allen wrench for installation, a Type-C cable for charging the drone, and a USB-C cable for connecting the drone to a computer. Additionally, there is a pad to adjust the goggles for a better fit on your head.
Extra Accessories
In another small bag, there are two lenses just in case you have myopia or a higher level of astigmatism that needs adjustment. You can use these lenses to accommodate your vision needs while using the drone.
Flymore Combo
When you open the box of the DJI AVATA 2 Flymore Combo, you will find all the necessary accessories to start recording, flying your drone, and practicing with it. In the future, you may consider purchasing the additional controller for even more stability and precise movements. However, the included controller also has its benefits.
First Flight Experience
This was my first time flying a drone FPV, so I followed the DJI tutorial on how to turn it on and use it. Even though I watched the tutorial a few times, nothing compares to the experience of actually flying it. After ensuring the batteries were charged, I removed the drone protector and took a deep breath before starting my first flight.
Initial Impressions
As I turned on the goggles, I felt a bit nervous, but once everything was set up, I was amazed by the quality of the video feed. I had to configure the language settings through the goggles, and to my surprise, the experience was smoother than I had anticipated.
Practicing and Learning
Although I haven’t had as much practice as I would like, I will be sharing images and videos on my social media accounts as I continue to explore the capabilities of this drone. This first flight was just the beginning of my journey into the world of FPV drones, and I can’t wait to see what else I can achieve with this amazing technology.

Ah Tengo que activar modos en el telfono ya, estoy grabando se ve muy bien la calidad eh Cmo ven Oye esto est padre voy a una velocidad, bastante aceptable creo seguramente vas, a decir que chafas movimientos Pues s, pero estoy, aprendiendo s, vibra bastante, o sea como que Pande, a los lados yo me imagino que ya con el estabilizador digital se, le quita, no est poca, madre amigos Est muy chingn.
El primer da de pruebas con el dron FPV
Esto, bueno, esto es el da uno de pruebas, a ver cmo nos va en este mundo del dron FPV. Da uno, preguntas bsicas sobre Por qu comprara este dron, o por qu me comprara uno? A lo mejor un mini este dron te permite hacer movimientos muy distintos, a los que puedes hacer con un mini. Con un mini literalmente lo prendes y ya, empiezas, a volar y puedes hacer movimientos muy estables. Movimientos muy tradicionales con este s requieres ms prctica. Necesitas al menos algunas. Yo dira que semanas para que t puedas, decir sabes qu. Ahora s me voy, a ir, a grabar algo profesional eh yo creo que si es algo que tienes que tener una curva de aprendizaje algo alta. Yo le calculo que para que le agarres muy bien a esto al menos un ao practicando. Y bueno parte del control que les digo es para poder eh practicar con el simulador. Lamentablemente con este pues, no puedes practicar con un simulador s, tienes que salir al campo, a grabar y yo te recomiendo que empieces a practicar en lugares abiertos en lugares en donde las probabilidades de que te pase un accidente sean muy pocas. Claro que si t empiezas a practicar en lugares donde hay cables, donde a lo mejor hay, muchos, obstculos. Pues puede ser probable que lo llegues a chocar. Entonces te recomiendo que sea en un campo o a lo mejor un parque con un gran espacio y bueno practica, practica, practica para que no le tengas miedo porque.
First Steps for Flying DJI AVATA 2 FPV Drone!
When I first started flying drones, I was a bit scared. Now with the DJI AVATA 2, I have to overcome certain fears. However, practice will help you gain confidence. So, don’t worry if you feel a little scared at first, it’s normal. The more you practice, the less fear you will feel. I must say that I really enjoyed my first day flying the FPV drone. It was a great experience and a whole new immersion. This FPV drone is very different from a regular drone and it’s really cool. My recommendation is to take it slow and not try to do crazy maneuvers at first to avoid accidents and to understand how it works.

Training Day Two with DJI AVATA 2
This is the second day of training with the DJI AVATA 2 FPV drone. The camera quality is good, with 4K 10-bit resolution. It may be a bit difficult to see through the goggles, but with practice, you will get used to it. Keep practicing and you will improve your skills.
