Let’s put it right over the landing pad and go down over here. We are all right, so to land it, you just hold the left joystick down, the props will stop, or the blades well stop. So this beeping sound is to tell you you’re at 50% and it’s a good idea to come back and land. You can’t do inverted flight at 50%, but you can fly around normally at 50%. Just to reiterate, there is no GPS in here. So if you’re flying and you run out of battery power, it cannot come back to you and land because it doesn’t know where home is due to the absence of GPS.
Adding a Camera
I’m going to put another battery in, but I’m also going to do something very silly and attach a camera to this helicopter, so we can see it flip upside down with a camera on it. The reason I say it’s silly is because the camera adds weight and it might go wonky when it goes upside down, but we’ll see what we get. Okay, my hat cam should pick it up. I have stuck the camera on the side, so we’re going to balance a little bit this way with the CG, but it shouldn’t be too bad.

Ive got it in the mode that I could possibly crash it into the ground upside down here, everythings just reversed. Oh, this is very difficult to fly upside down in manual mode, but I think Ive got it coming at me right here in manual mode. There is upside down thats, crazy. Okay, I got to. I got to change it back, so let go. Lets go like this. Take it way up and let me hit the Music invert and there we go. I got it back all right, woo! I was a little worried there. I couldnt get it back. All right lets, put it back in Optical flow mode and that pretty much ends our little demo here. Pretty cool and lets come down for a landing put it over our landing pad and well land. It right here there we go.
