Drone SG 700D: A Beginner’s Experience
The SG 700D drone, which I used to own, was purchased at Rp800,000. Over time, what remained of the drone was merely its remnants. The battery had depleted, rendering it unusable. The unit itself was in a deteriorated state, with broken parts and damaged components.
Description of the Drone
The SG 700D was a small drone, suitable for beginners looking to practice flying skills. It was compact and lightweight, approximately three fingers wide. The drone was primarily designed for training purposes and was not meant for advanced or professional use.
Issues Encountered
Unfortunately, the drone’s build quality left much to be desired. The landing gear was damaged, with non-functional lights. The drone’s motor was inefficient and would drain the battery quickly. This resulted in a short flight time of fewer than 10 flights before requiring a recharge, making it impractical for extended use.
The SG 700D drone was a budget-friendly option for beginners to practice flying skills. However, its poor construction and limited durability made it unsuitable for prolonged use. While it served its purpose as a training drone, it was ultimately not a long-term investment in the world of drones.
