Space set 60428, the space construction Mech, is one of the new Lego City Space sets that have recently been released. Lego has brought back the Space theme, and it is receiving positive feedback from fans. The sets are well-designed and appealing to both kids and adults. The Space theme has always been popular among Lego enthusiasts, and the new sets are no exception.

    Box Design

The front and back of the box for set 60428 features attractive graphics showcasing the Space theme. The space logo is prominently displayed, giving a sneak peek into the exciting space adventure that awaits inside the box. The packaging design is eye-catching and will surely grab the attention of Lego fans of all ages.

    Variety of Sets

In addition to the Space Construction Mech set, Lego has also introduced Duplo sets that incorporate space elements. These sets offer a more simplified building experience for younger children, while still retaining the fun and creativity that Lego is known for. The variety of sets available ensures that there is something for everyone, whether you are a seasoned Lego builder or a beginner.

    Overall Impression

Overall, the Lego City Space set 60428 Space Construction Mech with Drill Drone is a fantastic addition to the Space theme collection. The set is well-designed, with attention to detail and creativity. The inclusion of the Drill Drone adds an extra element of fun and playability to the set. Whether you are a fan of space exploration or just enjoy building with Lego, this set is sure to provide hours of entertainment.

    Figure Design

The instruction manual is in the standard Lego white format now and you’ve got your little space miner type figure to actually walk you through the instructions as well, which is again very nice. The figure comes with a nice little chest plate, a space miner type helmet, a beard, a radio communication device on his ear, and a proper space uniform. The design on his chest is detailed and overall, the figure is quite nice.

    New Lego Space Figures

I do kind of like these new space Lego figures. They are a really good development. It would be nice if they included a little jetpack as well, but hopefully, they’ll consider that in future sets. The figure itself is actually quite nice, and I would buy a set of these figures myself if they did a set of them like they used to do back in the day with sets of Lego Minifigures.

    Six Spacemen and Town People

You get six Spacemen and six um Town, people and stuff that it was quite nice back it and lets back.

    Design and Details

The mech in the Lego City Space set 60428 is quite impressive, especially considering its price point of $9. The little details on the mech, such as the battery packs and the printed tiles, are well-done.

    Stickers and Controls

While the set includes hazard-type stickers that need to be applied manually, there are no actual controls for the mech. This could be seen as a downside for some, but at the affordable price of $9, it’s a minor issue.

    Potential for Improvement

It would be interesting to see a version of this set designed for younger builders (aged four and up) using simpler mech legs for both the legs and arms. This could provide a more solid construction while maintaining posability.

    Overall Impressions

Once you have assembled the mech and placed a figure inside, the set offers a fun play experience. The posability of the mech allows for dynamic play scenarios, making it a great addition to any LEGO City Space collection.

    Design and Durability

The Handlebar piece comes down onto the um space, Lego logo and that’s going to rub and over time. That’s going to cause damage and to be honest with you that for me, would be a little bit of an annoyance. But then again if I was going to play with it, the amount of play I got out of my Lego Spaceman, I can’t really complain on that. Though, really, as you can see, it looks quite good. It looks good, for it really does look good and it does have posability and movement on it as well.

    Features and Functionality

The Space Construction Mech with Drill Drone has posability and movement. It has a little Jackhammer thing going here like that and it spins around as well so that’s quite good. It’s got a little grab in hand on here, so it’s meant to be a Mech for heavy lifting and mining. It’s not on the same level as the Marvel mechs, but it still serves its purpose well. It actually does what it’s designed for. The hand moves around and it has all the movement it needs, making it resemble something out of a sci-fi film. It’s a Mech exoskeleton thing for heavy lifting, mining, and more.

    Overall Impression

In conclusion, the Lego City Space set 60428 Space Construction Mech with Drill Drone is a well-designed and functional toy. Despite some potential durability issues, it offers great playability and posability. The features of the Mech, such as the spinning Jackhammer and grabbing hand, make it a versatile and engaging toy for children interested in space and construction themes.

    Price Point and Included Features

You could say superhero me a better, but as a Mex go as Lego. Mex go at the 9 price point. This is very good on its own. They could have got away with just selling this, but they didn’t. They gave you a little driller Droid that he controls as well. This has got a little power battery thing on the back, which is quite nice. They’ve used a technic bit there, a couple of robot arms and a bit in the middle, like that and you’ve got a nice little drilling Droid there. A nice little driller drilling driller droid Clone the um, not sure exactly what it is, but it’s a little robot thing which goes drilling for him. It does work, does look really good, it works really well.

    Included Accessories

I do it just. It looks really good for what it is and then so you got that comes with it as well. Then you’ve got a little cluster of crystals, which they’re obviously collecting for, for whatever reason, possibly to power the power station.

    Build Quality and Play Value

This isn’t the greatest build you’ll ever see in Lego, and you won’t win Lego Masters with it, but the one thing it does have is that it fits with a set. This is a 9 set which, in this day and age, isn’t really a lot of money. Sorry about that, as you can see it’s sort of it’s got good play value, the figure’s good in it.

    Mech Build Quality

The mech build is good in the Lego City Space set 60428 Space Construction Mech with Drill Drone. If I got this at 9 now, it would be worth it as it falls in the price bracket that is accessible to most LEGO enthusiasts. This set is perfect for those who are just starting with Lego or are looking for an affordable option.

    Childhood Nostalgia

If I had received this set when I was a kid, I would have been really happy. Back in the day, a set like this would have been considered a bigger set, and it still holds that charm. The Space Construction Mech does what it needs to do and looks good while doing it. Its play value is great and it offers a lot of movement to keep kids entertained for hours.

    Value for Money

This Lego set offers great value for money, especially if you cannot invest in the bigger and more expensive sets. The Space Construction Mech with Drill Drone is highly recommended for its quality and playability. It’s a well-designed set that showcases what Lego does best in the space-themed series.

    Suggestions for Future Sets

While the Space Construction Mech with Drill Drone is a standout set, it would be interesting to see Lego experiment with different designs in the future. Adding a Mech with four legs, a concept that has been used in other sets, could bring a new dimension to the space-themed collection and attract even more Lego fans.

    Impressive Design

The Lego City Space set 60428 Space Construction Mech with Drill Drone is a fantastic set that offers great value for money. The design of the construction mech and drill drone is impressive and captures the essence of space exploration perfectly. The attention to detail in the set is remarkable, making it a must-have for any Lego enthusiast.

    Great Play Value

In addition to its striking appearance, this set also offers great play value. The construction mech and drill drone can be used for imaginative play scenarios, providing hours of entertainment for children and adults alike. The set can also be modified to enhance play opportunities, adding to its overall appeal.

    Positive Feedback

Feedback from customers who have purchased and built this set has been overwhelmingly positive. Many have praised the set for its quality, design, and overall enjoyment factor. The figures included in the set have also received positive feedback for their detail and uniqueness.

    Highly Recommended

Overall, the Lego City Space set 60428 Space Construction Mech with Drill Drone comes highly recommended. Its impressive design, great play value, and positive feedback from customers make it a worthwhile addition to any Lego collection. If you are a fan of space-themed Lego sets or enjoy a good build, this set is definitely worth considering.
