I recently purchased a case for my Mavic Air 2 drone and a skin to protect it. Although I am not sponsored by any company, I wanted to share my thoughts on these products and how I have organized everything. Let’s dive into the review!
Review of Mavic Air 2 Case and Skin
The Case
The case I bought is not an official one from the drone manufacturer, but it serves its purpose. It is made of a soft fabric material that looks quite nice. I had to figure out how to place the drone and its accessories in the case, as there were no instructions included.
Organizing the Case
After browsing through various photos online, I found a suitable way to organize everything. I placed the Mavic Air 2 drone in the main compartment of the case. It fits snugly and is well-protected. Next to it, I put the three drone batteries and the charger. There is a specific slot for the charger, ensuring it stays in place during transportation.
Accessories and Extras
In the smaller compartments of the case, I stored other accessories like filters and cables. The case also has a separate compartment for the drone controller, which is quite convenient. There is even a small cushion at the bottom of the compartment to provide extra protection for the controller and cables.
Skin for the Drone
To add an extra layer of protection and a personalized touch to my Mavic Air 2, I purchased a skin. The skin is easy to apply and fits perfectly on the drone. It not only protects the drone from scratches but also adds a unique aesthetic appeal.
Using the Case as a Launchpad
One interesting feature of the case is that it can be used as a launchpad. I decided to test this out myself. I placed the case on the ground, opened it, and gently launched the drone from its designated spot. The soft fabric material on the inside of the case served as a cushion, ensuring a safe take-off.
The case and skin I purchased for my Mavic Air 2 have proven to be great additions to my drone accessories. The case provides adequate storage and protection for the drone and its accessories, while the skin adds a personal touch and extra protection.
