Design and Build Quality
This is the right side. Labeled R, there’s your driver pins for the charging connection, and it does look like this part here is somewhat flexible, so you’ll have to adjust this to your ear. The left side pretty much looks the same, just a mirror image. The plastic material is okay, with a matte finish that doesn’t feel super cheap or luxurious. The earbuds fit in the case magnetically and stay in place. When closed, the case should start charging the earbuds.
Features and Controls
The OpenRock S Bluetooth headphones come with touch controls on the side, allowing for easy operation. The manual provides instructions on how to control the earphones and pair them with your phone. The touch controls make it convenient to manage your music and calls while on the go.
Performance and User Experience
After using the OpenRock S Bluetooth headphones for about a week, it’s clear that they are not the best choice for users looking for heavy bass. The sound quality is decent but may not satisfy audiophiles or bass enthusiasts. However, for casual listening and everyday use, these headphones perform well.
Audio Quality
Obviously, with this open air, conduction uh you’re not going to get the best audio quality in general. These are for people that actually want to hear sounds from your environment, so, for example, if you’re walking or jogging and maybe you’re in a busy Urban environment, uh walking some city streets. That kind of thing, maybe you want to be able to hear cars. You know the noise from the Cars honking that kind of thing and, if you’re using traditional earbuds that are completely blocking your ear canal, you are not going to be able to hear your environment at all, and that is Prim primarily who these are meant for.
Usage
So you know that being the case uh, the audio coming from this tiny driver here can only do so much to get you. You know in terms of um the audio quality. It is good audio quality, so, for example, things like podcasts, um, Audi books stuff like that vocal um, uh audio is going to be very good on. This is very clear: uh, even through you know, going through the air uh. You don’t get much Bas in music. Of course, music is still very good, of course, not as clear as um a traditional earbud and, of course the base is not quite as good, but still good enough.
Volume
The maximum volume on this one is kind of on the low side. I’ve reviewed a few of these uh open air, conduction, uh, earbuds and uh.
Sound Quality
Some of the other headphones in similar categories may get louder, but they often suffer from distortion at maximum volume. The OpenRock S Bluetooth headphones, on the other hand, do not get distorted at max volume. It seems like they have been tuned to prevent distortion, which is crucial for an optimal audio experience. While they may not be the loudest at max volume, they still provide clear and crisp sound quality.
Volume Levels
At maximum volume, the OpenRock S Bluetooth headphones may not be as loud as some other earbuds in the same category. Additionally, the sound may not be easily audible if you are not close to the person wearing them. This can be beneficial in situations where you want to listen to your music without disturbing others, especially in quiet environments like libraries. However, in outdoor settings or noisy environments, the volume levels may not be a concern.
Fit and Comfort
The fit of the OpenRock S Bluetooth headphones is somewhat adjustable, but there may be issues with them staying in a certain position. It is important to properly position the headphones on your ears to ensure optimal sound quality. The position of the speaker driver in relation to your ear canal plays a significant role in how well the audio will sound. It may take some trial and error to find the perfect fit for your ears.
Design and Adjustability
The OpenRock S Bluetooth Headphones have a sleek and modern design, but the adjustment mechanisms may leave something to be desired. The speaker driver positioning may not be optimal for everyone, requiring manual adjustment for the best audio quality and volume. The lack of adjustability in the headphones can be a drawback for some users, especially those with different ear shapes or who wear glasses.
Comfort and Fit
The issue of wearing glasses while using the OpenRock S Bluetooth Headphones can affect the overall comfort and fit of the device. The interference between the temples of the glasses and the headphones can make the fit less secure for those who wear glasses. While the headphones can still be worn with glasses, the security and comfort level may vary depending on the individual’s specific needs.
Audio Quality
Despite the potential challenges with adjusting the positioning of the speaker drivers, the OpenRock S Bluetooth Headphones offer decent audio quality. When positioned optimally on the ear, users can enjoy clear sound and good volume. However, the lack of adjustability can impact the overall audio experience for some users, leading to slightly less volume and audio quality than desired.
Comfort and Fit
If you’re a glasses wearer, you may find the positioning of the OpenRock S Bluetooth headphones to be less secure. The optimal fit can be affected by the presence of glasses, making it a bit more challenging to wear them comfortably. However, for non-glasses wearers, this should not pose a problem and the headphones may fit more securely.
Audio Quality
The audio quality of the OpenRock S Bluetooth headphones is decent, though there is room for improvement. The adjustment mechanism could be enhanced to optimize the audio experience for users. These headphones are more suitable for individuals who prefer to hear their surrounding environment while listening to music or other audio.
Pricing
At a current price of $100, the OpenRock S Bluetooth headphones may seem a bit steep for some users. In comparison to similar models, a price point of around $65-70 would likely be considered more reasonable. Keep an eye out for sales and discount codes that may bring the price down.

The OpenRock S Bluetooth headphones have a sleek and modern design, with a comfortable over-ear fit that is perfect for long listening sessions. The padded ear cups and adjustable headband ensure a snug and comfortable fit for any head size. The foldable design also makes these headphones convenient for travel and on-the-go use.

Just keep in mind that they may not deliver the best bass experience.
Overall, the OpenRock S Bluetooth Headphones may be a good option for those looking for a stylish and modern pair of headphones. However, the design and adjustability issues may be a concern for some users, particularly those with different ear shapes or who wear glasses. Despite these drawbacks, the headphones still offer decent audio quality and can provide a satisfactory listening experience for many users.
Overall, the OpenRock S Bluetooth headphones offer a decent audio experience and are designed for users who prefer to be aware of their surroundings while using headphones. Improvements could be made in terms of comfort and pricing to make them more accessible to a wider range of users.
