My friends is the new beautiful DJI agress t50 and, as you can see, it is a beast. It has got binocular vision up top, binocular vision down below, a massive improved radar on the front and another massive improved radar on the back. It still has a 360-degree sensing capability, allowing for better detection of obstacles. The improved latch system on the DJI AGRAS T50 makes it easier to open and close the propeller system with rotors that go clockwise in one direction and counterclockwise in another for anti-torque vectoring.

Spray System of DJI AGRAS T50

The spray nozzles on the DJI AGRAS T50 have a solenoid that can close them off for better control over the spraying process. The pumps on the spray tank have been improved, and additional solenoids can be added to the front of the drone for a total of four. This allows for more precise and efficient spraying of liquid or spreading of dry material. The dual atomizer nozzles at the back further enhance the spraying capabilities of the DJI AGRAS T50.

Capacity and Performance of DJI AGRAS T50

One of the common questions about the DJI AGRAS T50 is whether it has a 50-liter tank, given its name. Unfortunately, the tank capacity remains at 40 liters, but it can still hold 88 lbs of spraying liquid and over 150 lbs of dry material in the spreading tank. The DJI AGRAS T50 allows for faster spraying, thanks to its improved design and components. The speed controllers may be smaller, but they offer the same level of performance as previous models, with the same motors and fans.

    Upgraded Features

These are the same ones that spin around here and dispense material. But you can see everything’s been upgraded, including this new feature, which is a solenoid that pinches off this pipe and prevents it from dripping, which is a common problem on the T40.

    Increased Spray Capacity

So this whole system here is better you’re spraying 4.2 over 4 Gall per minute. With this and the most exciting thing about the new T50, is you can double up on these. You can actually add additional spray nozzles right here on the front propellers hanging down right here to have four of those and if you have all four of those you’re going to be spraying at over six gallons per minute, which means you can dump this whole. 10.1, 12 gallon tank less than 2 minutes. If you have a four nozzle system on your T50, which is going to be absolutely crazy.

    Enhanced Safety Features

The other thing you’ll notice on the T50 is this massive new radar system up front. It has double the RF sensors. It is looking up, it is looking to the side looking everywhere and it’s just huge to keep your drone safer while it’s flying and detect everything around it, and if that wasn’t enough, they added a second one of those right here on the back. So you’ve got another phased array system right here, oriented at 90 to the other one. So the lower radar system is going to allow you to fly faster and follow terrain better than the T40 ever did.

    Improved Performance

The DJI Agras T50 boasts impressive capabilities, allowing users to fly up to 32 feet per second and detect a 50-degree slope. This makes the drone much safer, particularly when navigating mountainous or hilly terrain. With increased agility and stability, the T50 outperforms its predecessor, the T40, in terms of overall capabilities.

    Enhanced Binocular System

One of the standout features of the DJI Agras T50 is its improved binocular vision system. In addition to the binocular vision on top, the T50 now features lower binocular vision as well. These cameras have been strategically angled to ensure optimal obstacle avoidance, allowing the drone to navigate more efficiently and effectively.

    Improved Obstacle Avoidance

Thanks to the enhanced binocular vision system, the DJI Agras T50 offers improved obstacle avoidance capabilities. The cameras are positioned to provide a clear view of the drone’s surroundings, ensuring that it can detect and avoid obstacles with precision. This added layer of safety makes the T50 an ideal choice for complex mapping and surveying tasks.

    Upgraded Remote Control

When purchasing a DJI Agras T50 ready-to-fly kit or pro kit, users will receive an upgraded remote control. While it may look similar to the remote control used with the T40, it is actually different and not backwards compatible. The new remote control features improved controls that are intuitive and easy to use, enhancing the overall flying experience.

    Advanced Radar Sensing

Another key feature of the DJI Agras T50 is its improved radar sensing capabilities, offering 360-degree, two-times sensing. This advanced radar system enhances the drone’s ability to detect and avoid obstacles, making it an ideal choice for mapping, surveying, and other tasks that require precise navigation.

    Cooling Station

The DJI AGRAS T50 comes with an improved cooling station that is a step up from the T40 model. One of the standout features of this cooling station is the ease of use – no assembly required. Additionally, a foot pedal mechanism allows for effortless battery removal, making the process seamless and efficient. The cooling station helps extend battery life and aids in faster charging, especially beneficial when charging on the go.

    Charging Station

With the new T50, users also receive a charging station that enables fast charging of drone batteries in under 10 minutes. The previous models, such as the c7000 and c8000, have now been upgraded to the new c1000, which can charge both batteries simultaneously. This feature is a significant improvement from the older models, enhancing convenience and efficiency for users.

    Compatibility

One of the common concerns that users have is whether the batteries from the T40 model are compatible with the new T50, and vice versa. Fortunately, the answer is yes. Both T40 and T50 batteries are interchangeable, allowing for flexibility and convenience, ensuring a smooth transition for users upgrading to the new model.

Overview of the DJI AGRAS T50

The new DJI AGRAS T50 is a cutting-edge drone that boasts an improved radar and binocular vision system, making it safer and more precise than its predecessor, the T40. With four nozzles, the T50 can spray more liquid, allowing for higher gallon per acre rates. Additionally, the T50 has a unique feature that turns off inside nozzles when turning corners, ensuring precise spraying around obstacles.

    Battery Compatibility

One major advantage of the DJI AGRAS T50 is its battery compatibility. The standard 1560 DJI battery is compatible across both the T40 and T50 drones. Moreover, new upgraded batteries are backward compatible, making it easy to transition to the T50 without having to purchase new batteries. This seamless compatibility ensures a smooth upgrade process for existing drone users.

    Should You Upgrade?

For owners of the T40, the question of whether to upgrade to the T50 arises. While the T40 is a reliable workhorse that performs well, the T50 offers a range of new and exciting features that make it worth considering an upgrade. The improved radar and binocular vision system of the T50 provide a safer flying experience, allowing the drone to fly closer to obstacles with precision spraying. Additionally, the ability to dump a large amount of liquid through all four nozzles enables higher gallon per acre rates.

    Conclusion

Overall, the DJI AGRAS T50 is a powerful and efficient drone designed for agricultural spraying and spreading tasks. With its advanced features and improved design, the DJI AGRAS T50 offers better performance and control for farmers and agricultural professionals. Whether you are spraying crops or spreading fertilizers, the DJI AGRAS T50 is a reliable and effective tool to enhance your productivity in the field.

Overall, the DJI Agras T50 is a game-changer in the world of agricultural drones. With its enhanced performance, advanced binocular vision system, upgraded remote control, and improved radar sensing capabilities, the T50 is a versatile and reliable tool for professional users. Whether you’re mapping fields, surveying orchards, or inspecting terrain, the DJI Agras T50 is sure to exceed your expectations. Upgrade to the T50 today and experience the future of drone technology in agriculture.

In conclusion, the DJI AGRAS T50 is a top-of-the-line drone that offers enhanced capabilities and features compared to its predecessor. With improved safety measures, precision spraying, and higher liquid capacity, the T50 is a valuable asset for agricultural spraying applications. Whether you are upgrading from the T40 or looking for the latest in drone technology, the DJI AGRAS T50 is definitely worth considering.
