Impressive Features
We got two cameras here in front. I don’t know if you can see them, but if I tap here then now I can see where you are. I thought you were over here, but now I can point at the camera. I can point at Tommy who’s holding the camera. I can take the Drone and actually see the Drone where I put it down. I’m going to put it on my cap. Okay, so like that, you can see that it actually works and picking up the controller taking a cup of coffee sipping that. I mean like it, it works good.
Integrated Battery Issue
Something that I don’t like, though, is that on these goggles you have an integrated battery. So if you look at old goggles, you only have the headband, and the good thing about this is that you can bring this in your big luggage that you check in. But that is something I can’t do with the new goggles anymore, because the battery is attached. Just the same as you had on the goggles Integra.
Flight Performance
“I got to say this real view. That’s pretty cool. We’re going to fly at a 10 angle, that’s going to be fine right, I think so.” “No, for maybe I have to start in normal mode and then fly Applause up, Music, okay, I can’t start in normal mode and then fly out it doesn’t work.” “The dash end is you con? It we’re going to have to take it Music outside currently flying with an angle of 15 W it’s heavy.”
Flight Characteristics
You can absolutely feel that it’s sagging a lot. This is not made to do some acrobatic stuff. Flying at a 25 angle feels like a pretty good angle with decent speed. However, sharp turns and dives may be a bit challenging due to the heavy weight of the drone.
Performance
The DJI Avata 2 manages well in dives and sharp turns, but you can feel that the drone is heavy when trying to maneuver quickly. Tilt too far forward and you may experience a loss of lift power and capacity.
Camera Quality
The quality of the camera on the DJI Avata 2 is impressive, allowing you to see branches and obstacles clearly. This can be helpful when flying close to objects or capturing dynamic shots.
Overall Impressions
While the DJI Avata 2 is not designed for acrobatics or extreme maneuvers, it is a reliable option for beginner pilots looking to capture aerial footage. It may not excel in high-speed dives or sharp turns, but it offers good stability and a quality camera for capturing scenic shots.
Improved Stability and Lifting Capacity
When flying the DJI Avata 2, users have noted that it feels more steady in the air compared to the older model. Additionally, there seems to be a little bit more lifting capacity with this new version, allowing for more maneuverability and flexibility during flights.
Enhanced Transmission Quality
A key test for any drone is how well it can transmit signals when flying behind obstacles. The Avata 2 has been praised for its strong transmission capabilities, allowing pilots to maintain clear communication with the drone even when flying in challenging environments.
Real View 3D Experience
One of the standout features of the DJI Avata 2 is the real view 3D experience it offers to users. By enabling picture-in-picture mode, pilots can see exactly what the drone is capturing on their left hand side while looking through the goggles. This immersive experience creates a sense of looking through a window and adds to the realism of the flying experience.
Improved Connection
Filming with the DJI Avata 2, you can see how good the connection is. Flying behind obstacles like the house or garage, the connection remains stable with no issues. This enhanced connectivity is a significant improvement over the previous version of Avata.
Enhanced Camera Quality
One notable upgrade in the DJI Avata 2 is the improved camera quality. When examining the feed, it appears crisper and more detailed than ever before. This enhanced camera quality not only provides a better flying experience but also results in higher-quality footage for editing.
Durability and Safety Features
The DJI Avata 2 is praised for its durability, making it an excellent choice for beginners. This drone can withstand crashes and impacts, feeling even sturdier than its predecessor. Additionally, the Avata 2 comes equipped with more safety features, providing increased stability and protection for novice pilots.
Overall Impressions
Overall, the DJI Avata 2 proves to be a significant improvement over the previous model. With enhanced connection, improved camera quality, durability, and safety features, the Avata 2 is an ideal choice for beginners looking to explore the world of FPV drones. The upgraded features and performance make the DJI Avata 2 a top contender in the beginner FPV drone market.
Easy to Fly
Give it that much its not! I thought it was going to be louder, but its very weird, because, when Im turning, it turns more than I want to. It’s like it has and I’m flying in sports mode, so it’s assisted. It’s super easy to fly like. I feel super confident that I’m not going to crash into anything, even though it’s not flying like I wanted to. It still goes where I’m pointing it towards, just weird you’re not used to it, uh.
Great for Beginners
I would say that somebody who’s never flown one of these before, it’s pretty easy. Actually, I didn’t like the Avata One, I’ll tell you that much, but the Avata 2, uh, I’m not going to talk about camera and all that stuff. It’s amazing how easy it is. Somebody who’s never flown a drone before could learn how to fly this in minutes for sure – and that scares me because they could probably go crash it and hit somebody with it too. But I am amazed at how easy it is to use. I got this going very quickly.
The DJI Avata 2 is a significant improvement over its predecessor, offering better stability, enhanced transmission quality, and a unique real view 3D experience. For beginners looking to venture into the world of FPV drones, the Avata 2 may be the perfect choice.
