Micro FPV (First Person View) race cars have become increasingly popular in recent years. These small, agile vehicles provide thrill and excitement for both adults and children alike. In this review, we will take a closer look at two of the best micro FPV race cars on the market – the FMS Flush30 and ALU35. These compact machines offer high-speed racing action and are the perfect Christmas gift for racing enthusiasts of all ages.

Welcome to the Best Christmas Gift – Micro FPV Race Cars!

Welcome to the captain, drone YouTube channel. My name is Steve and I have the best Christmas gift for you and your family this year. So does your wife like RC cars? Probably not your kids, like RC cars, yep I’m sure they do. Does your cat like RC cars – oh my god, do they ever so? This is a brand new RC car on the Market from FMS.

Now FMS, as you know, makes RC planes, but they also make RC cars and they make some of the smallest and best RC cars on the planet. This new line of RC cars that they’ve come out with will blow your mind. If your mind is not blown after this video, then you might want to upgrade your medication now. I’m going to show you this product really quick because I have four of my friends that are coming over to do races with these cars and we’re going to have a blast. We haven’t done it yet, but it’s coming up so I’ve got the boxes aligned. So I can put the product up here. This is it, plunk, it’s very small. You can’t see it right because it’s 1/64 scale.

    The Remote

It comes with a remote that is full functioning. This remote is better than some of the remotes you get for larger cars. You know like from Arma Traxxas uh Loi. Those remotes are pretty basic. This has every function you could possibly desire. I’ll show you that in a second. You also get some FPV goggles, while the FPV goggles are not your grandma’s FPV goggles. These ones, you can put a Micro SD card in and record in them, so you can record the footage that comes off your car. Now you’re looking at the car and going, “well, where’s the camera on this thing?” You also get a magnetic removable camera.

These cameras are really cool because you can put them on the car, take them off, put them on another car. They have a magnet on the bottom, so they stick in place. They also come with spare tires, which is nice. And the range on these things, you’re going to be amazed. It’s like a couple of hundred feet easily. I’m a little bit worried about that because I might get run over by a car. The charging time is also pretty quick. You can go from dead to full charge in about 45 minutes, so that’s pretty good. And they look so cool. They have these bright LED lights in the front, so when you’re racing at night, you can see where you’re going. It also has the rubber tires, so they don’t slide all over the place when you’re driving them. You can probably drive it on your desk or on the kitchen table, and it will be fine.

    Unboxing and Setup

When it comes to the best Christmas gift for the racing enthusiasts in your life, look no further than the Micro FPV Race Cars. In this review, we’ll be taking a closer look at two models – the FMS Flush30 and the ALU35, and how they perform.

In the unboxing, you’ll find everything you need to get started. Along with the micro FPV race car itself, you’ll also receive some additional accessories. But for now, let’s dive into how everything works.

    Powering Up

To get started, power on the remote control. Located at the top of the remote is a small switch. Once turned on, you’ll notice that the remote is adorned with numerous buttons and flashy lights. These lights not only add to the aesthetics but also serve as indicators during the race.

Next, it’s time to power on the micro FPV race car. A simple press of a button located below the car will do the trick. What’s great about these cars is that they are rechargeable via USB-C. Thankfully, the necessary cable is included in the kit.

    Lighting Features

Once the car is powered on, you’ll notice various lights illuminating on both the car and the remote control. On the remote, there is a switch that allows you to change the light patterns. The forward lights on the car are visible, but it may be a bit challenging to spot the blinking signal lights on the display. However, they are surely blinking on the rear end of the car. Additionally, the car is equipped with backup lights, brake lights, and lights on the bottom, which give it a cool glowing effect while driving.

    FMS Flush30 – German Model

Let’s focus on the FMS Flush30 model. Designed to resemble a German model car, it comes with a small wooden piece that serves as a base. Placing the car on top of the wooden surface provides stability during use. The Flush30 allows for tight loops and turns, eliminating the need for a lot of space. You can even control the rate of acceleration using the remote control.

    ALU35 – Advanced Performance

Moving on to the ALU35 model, this race car offers advanced performance capabilities. With its sleek design and powerful performance, it’s a dream come true for racing enthusiasts. The ALU35 allows for lightning-fast acceleration and smooth handling during turns. It’s perfect for adrenaline junkies seeking the ultimate racing experience.

In conclusion, if you’re looking for the perfect Christmas gift for racing enthusiasts, the Micro FPV Race Cars, specifically the FMS Flush30 and ALU35 models, are an excellent choice. With their impressive features and performance, these miniature race cars are guaranteed to bring excitement and joy during the holiday season and beyond.

    Attaching the FPV Camera

Both the FMS Flush30 and the ALU35 have a magnetic hatch on top, which can be pulled off just like a sunroof. This hatch allows you to attach the FPV camera effortlessly. Once the hatch is removed, simply snap the camera onto the top, and you’re ready to go. The FPV mode provides a real-time view of the car’s surroundings, enhancing the racing experience.

    Using the FPV Mode

To experience the FPV mode, power on the goggles and the camera. The goggles will come to life, displaying the live feed from the camera. Wherever the camera is pointing, you will see the corresponding image on the goggles. It’s a thrilling experience to race the car while seeing exactly what the car sees through the FPV camera. The technology enhances the realism and adds a new level of excitement to racing.

    Model Variations

The Flush30 and the ALU35 are available in different models and colors. The Flush30 is based on a German design and comes in three vibrant colors. On the other hand, the ALU35 is designed based on a Japanese aesthetic and also offers three attractive colors. Both models have their unique appeal and provide an excellent racing experience.

    Differences in Steering Mechanism

One of the main distinctions between the Flush30 and the ALU35 is the steering mechanism. The ALU35 incorporates a different steering system compared to the Flush30. However, both models offer exceptional control and maneuverability. Whether you choose the Flush30 or the ALU35, you can expect a thrilling racing experience.

    Impressive Battery Life

One of the standout features of these micro FPV race cars is their battery life. With the FPV camera attached, the runtime on a full charge is an impressive 20 minutes. This ensures that you have ample time to enjoy the immersive racing experience without interruptions. If you decide to remove the FPV camera, the runtime extends to a staggering 40 minutes on a full charge.

The Best Christmas Gift: Micro FPV Race Cars – FMS Flush30 & ALU35

    Multiple Cars and Smooth Surfaces

With the FMS Flush30 and ALU35 micro FPV race cars, you can experience the excitement of racing with friends and family during the Christmas holidays. Though it is advisable to drive these cars on smooth surfaces to maximize the enjoyment, you can still have a blast even on a slightly rougher terrain. The remote control allows you to reach distances of up to 150 meters, giving you plenty of room to maneuver and explore.

    FPV and Multiple Channels

One interesting feature of these micro FPV race cars is the first-person view (FPV) capability. The FPV system allows you to see exactly what the car is seeing by shooting out a video signal. With a range of approximately 25 meters, you can have up to four cars running at the same time. The FPV system includes a button on top of the car that enables you to switch between four different channels. This means that each member of your family can choose a different channel and race their own car simultaneously.

    Record Your Races

Not only can you have fun racing these micro FPV race cars, but you can also record your races using the FPV goggles. The goggles provide a real-time view of the race, allowing you to capture all the exhilarating moments. Additionally, these FPV goggles can be used with other RC hobby gadgets that emit an analog signal, making them a versatile accessory for any RC enthusiast.

    Racing with Friends

If you’re fortunate enough to have friends or family visiting during the holidays, these micro FPV race cars are a perfect way to entertain and engage with them. The compact size and multiple channels allow everyone to participate in races together. You can set up an exciting race track and let the competition begin. These micro FPV race cars are guaranteed to bring laughter, enjoyment, and friendly rivalry to your festive celebrations.

In conclusion, the FMS Flush30 and ALU35 micro FPV race cars are fantastic Christmas gifts that provide hours of entertainment for both kids and adults alike. Whether you’re racing alone or with friends, these cars offer a thrilling and immersive experience with their FPV capabilities and multiple channels. So get ready to unleash your inner racer this holiday season and have a blast with these micro FPV race cars!

Review of FMS Flush30 & ALU35 Micro FPV Race Cars

    FPV Goggles Performance

When testing out the FMS Flush30 and ALU35 micro FPV race cars, we noticed some issues with the performance of the FPV goggles. When multiple goggles were used at the same time and the cars were in close proximity, the video transmissions were not that great. This can be seen in the accompanying video.

    Differences in Goggles

It is worth noting that the tester, Stephen Jock, did not use the included goggles. Instead, he opted for his own goggles, which provided him with better vision and success. He mentioned that the box style goggles were not suitable for his eyes, but with his own goggles, the experience was actually pretty good. Therefore, it is possible that the performance issues were related to the included goggles and their antennas.

    Ghosting in the Video

Another tester, Jo, experienced a good picture quality but noticed a lot of ghosting. This issue was persistent for him, even after trying different angles with the antennas. Surprisingly, the ghosting cleared up when he held his head in a certain way but would come back again. This inconsistency could be attributed to the quality of the antenna used. It is worth noting that the tested cars had antennas at different angles.

    FPV Driving Experience

Despite the performance issues with the goggles, both testers agreed that driving the FPV race cars was a lot of fun. In fact, they found it easier to drive compared to traditional remote control cars. The immersive experience provided by the FPV technology added an extra layer of excitement and challenge.

    Two-Person Race

As a final test, two cars were selected, and two individuals, Joe and Jock, were assigned to race each other. The race commenced with a countdown of zero, and both participants raced their micro FPV cars. The intense competition between Joe and Jock added to the thrill and showcased the potential for exciting races with these tiny yet powerful race cars.

In conclusion, while there were some issues with the FPV goggles’ performance, the overall experience of using the FMS Flush30 and ALU35 micro FPV race cars was enjoyable. The immersive driving experience, coupled with the thrill of racing, makes these cars an excellent choice for Christmas gifts. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced enthusiast, these micro FPV race cars are guaranteed to provide hours of entertainment during the holiday season.

The Best Christmas Gift – Micro FPV Race Cars! FMS Flush30 & ALU35 – Review

    Racing Experience

The FMS Flush30 and ALU35 deliver an adrenaline-filled racing experience. With their impressive speed and maneuverability, these cars are guaranteed to provide endless hours of fun. Whether you are racing against friends or competing against yourself, the thrill of these micro FPV race cars is unparalleled.

Visual Line of Sight vs. Goggles

One interesting aspect we discovered during our testing was the difference between driving the cars with visual line of sight and using the FPV goggles. Driving the cars without goggles was enjoyable, but once we put on the goggles, the experience became even more immersive. The ability to see through the eyes of the car added a new level of excitement and made driving the cars even easier.

    Interference and Channel Adjustments

During our tests, we encountered some interference issues when driving four cars at once in a small confined area. This occurred when one car’s signal conflicted with another car’s goggles. However, when we reduced the number of cars to two, the image quality improved significantly, with no issues of ghosting or banding.

To further minimize interference, it is recommended to race with only three cars instead of four. By leaving one channel unused, you can easily adjust channels to avoid interference and ensure a smooth racing experience.
