Hey everyone! Welcome to the captain, drone YouTube channel. My name is Steve and Im out here today with the FMS integral. This is a new EDF jet by FMS s, well new, as in its been released in 2024 a few months ago, its very hard to get. If you find it in stock, then you should buy it because I tried to buy it several times and its always out of stock. Its very popular, so I have one now and the one I have, as you can see, is the red version. It also comes in the version blue. Now, if you look at the styling of the plane, it looks like its something from a 1950 sci fi movie or the Jetson or Flash Gordon or I dont know, but its its very futuristic. Looking FMS did that on purpose. So that it doesnt look like every other plane on the market. Now this is a pretty fast EDF, jet, probably one of the fastest you can buy in this price range, its also a collaboration between FMS and Tomahawk.

    Design and Features

It is 1060 mm from wing tip to wing tip. What does that mean? 1060, that means you can can fit it in your car no problem now, because it flies so fast in different wind conditions.

    Performance

The FMS Integral is known for its fast flying speed and agility. It can maneuver easily in the air, making it a joy to fly for experienced pilots. The collaboration between FMS and Tomahawk has resulted in a well-designed jet that performs exceptionally well in various wind conditions.

    Availability

Due to its popularity, the FMS Integral can be hard to find in stock. If you come across it available for purchase, it is recommended to grab one quickly before it sells out again. The sleek design and impressive performance make it a coveted choice among EDF jet enthusiasts.

    Specifications

The FMS Integral comes equipped with 13 G servos, eight in total, making it a powerful and agile jet. It is recommended to use a 4000mAh 6S LiPo battery with a 50c rating for optimal performance.

    Features

There are four standout features of the FMS Integral that make it a popular choice among RC enthusiasts. Firstly, the large wheels allow for takeoff and landing on grass surfaces, providing versatility in flying locations. The shock-absorbing landing gear reduces bounce upon landing, ensuring a smooth touchdown. The detachable nose makes transportation and storage convenient, allowing for easy assembly before each flight. Lastly, the ease of flying the FMS Integral makes it a great choice for those transitioning from other RC planes to their first EDF jet.

    Flight Experience

Despite its speed, the FMS Integral is surprisingly easy to control, even for those with limited experience flying EDF jets. The aerodynamic design allows for smooth gliding when the motor is turned off, demonstrating the stability and precision of this aircraft. Whether performing tricks or simply enjoying a leisurely flight, the FMS Integral offers a thrilling experience for pilots of all skill levels.

    Flight Experience

For beginners, the FMS Integral EDF jet offers a thrilling experience with its crazy fast speed. With minimal throttle input, you can keep it going smoothly, making it easier for novice pilots to handle. The low stall factor in turns is a bonus, providing a sense of stability and control in flight.

    Flight Testing

Before taking the jet for a spin, it is essential to conduct thorough flight testing. The first flight without cameras allows you to focus on the performance and trimming of the aircraft. By ensuring that everything is in order, you can have a successful and safe flight experience.

    Camera Integration

For added excitement and perspective, the second flight involves attaching cameras to the jet. This allows you to capture stunning aerial views as the FMS Integral zooms through the skies. The footage provides a unique and immersive way to relive the flight.

    Battery Configuration

The FMS Integral EDF jet features a convenient battery placement system. The battery sits on a tray, making it easy to insert and remove when needed. It is compatible with a 6S 4000-5000mAh battery, providing sufficient power for the jet’s performance.

    Flight Time

While the FMS Integral offers an exhilarating flying experience, it comes with a limitation in terms of flight time. Due to its high power consumption as an EDF jet, the aircraft provides only around 3 minutes of flight time. Pilots should be prepared for shorter flight sessions with this model.

The FMS Integral: A Crazy Fast EDF Jet

When it comes to flying the FMS Integral, one thing is for sure – this EDF jet is crazy fast! With just a light touch on the throttle, you can get more than 3 minutes of thrilling flight time, pushing this jet to its limits.

    Pre-Flight Check

Before taking to the skies, it’s important to check the interior of the FMS Integral. Make sure your battery is securely in place and connect it properly. A quick look at the surface area, including the ailerons, elevator, rudder, and flaps ensures everything is in working order for a successful flight.

    Flight Experience

Landing the FMS Integral with flaps on may not make a significant difference due to its gliding capabilities. With an 80mm motor powering it, this jet can easily sail through the air with precision and speed. The thrill of takeoff, maneuvering through the sky, and landing are all part of the exhilarating experience of flying the FMS Integral.

    Insane Speed

When it comes to your first EDF jet, the FMS Integral is definitely not for the faint of heart. As demonstrated in a recent review, this jet is crazy fast, reaching incredible speeds that will leave your heart pounding.

    Low Passes

One of the most exhilarating aspects of flying the FMS Integral is performing low passes. With the added thrill of a crosswind causing the wings to sway, this jet is a true adrenaline rush. The speed and agility of the plane make it a joy to fly, even at lower altitudes.

    Speed Run

During a speed run with the FMS Integral, the reviewer was able to push the limits of this powerful jet. Halfway around the loop, the speed and agility of the plane were truly impressive. Even in challenging conditions, such as a crosswind, the FMS Integral performed flawlessly.

    Landing

When it comes time to bring the FMS Integral in for a landing, it’s important to be prepared for the unique characteristics of this jet. With the landing gear down and full flaps engaged, the reviewer found that the plane floated gracefully down to the ground. Adjusting throttle while bringing the nose down is crucial for a smooth landing, but once mastered, the FMS Integral lands with ease.

    Testing the Speed

Okay, so lets see what we got lets see what we got. Okay, hopefully it all picks it up. Hit stop hit. Read There we go thats the best I could do 174 km hour, so thats over 100 mph, not bad.

    Camera Setup

All right. I put two cameras on the plane. I dont know. If they both work, this one is shooting over the wing. It looks pretty reliable. I see it flashing and theres one pointing to the front, and this is the camera to the front. You can see with my hat cam theyre all insta 360 cameras. They add a bit of weight: Ive got them somewhere near the CG, so hopefully it doesnt mess things up too much.

    Flight Experience

All right here we go lets get Music up, pull throttle, get her up. Whoa CG is good, but that crosswind is throwing it off Ive, taken it away out this time, since I have cameras on it, so my camera up, my head, wont, see it as much but Im going to bring it down nice and low as we come around Its far far far out there, its just a little red dot in the sky, coming around got some city workers. Doing some grass maintenance bringing it down low lets see right at my head. No, there we go there. We go come over going by its a very easy plane to fly thats, why I say: if youve already flown one plane, an RC plane, like you know, a fairly decent size, 1000 mm wingspan, and you want to try an EDF jet.

Impressions on Flying the FMS Integral

Well, this is a good one to try the reason before I said it was kind of sacr saying that is because a lot of people buy this, who are professionals, and they think only a professional can fly it. They would not call this a trainer cuz its. Not a trainer, but man is it awesome. Look at this Ive got it coming right at me again, its just an incredible plane, its so true wherever you point, that nose is where it goes, its really good.

    Flight Performance and Speed

The FMS Integral is crazy fast! It responds instantly to your commands and moves with precision wherever you want it to go. The speed at which it flies is truly exhilarating, giving you an adrenaline rush that few other planes can match. However, this speed comes with a downside of a short flight time, typically around 2 to 3 minutes before the battery needs to be recharged.

    Landing the FMS Integral

As you bring the FMS Integral in for landing, it’s important to handle the speed and maneuverability with care. Dropping the gear and adjusting the throttle and flaps to slow down the plane is crucial for a smooth landing. Keeping a close eye on the plane as it descends is necessary to avoid any obstacles, such as trees or grass, that may get in the way.

Final Thoughts on the FMS Integral

The FMS Integral is not for the faint of heart, but for those who are looking for an exhilarating flying experience. Its speed and agility make it a thrilling choice for experienced pilots who are up for the challenge. While the short flight time may be a drawback, the excitement and adrenaline rush of flying this jet are sure to outweigh any limitations.

The FMS Integral: A Beginner’s Best Choice

I could just glide it there. We go, isn’t that awesome. I tell you it’s not a trainer, but it flies like a trainer. If you want your very first EDF, this is probably one of the best ones to get, because at your field, you’ll have the fastest EDF jet there is known to man.

    Landing Gear and Design

I want to hold it out here if you want to see what the landing gear looks like when it goes up. It looks like, oh, I got to get my fingers out of there! Landing gear going up very solid landing gear, very solid landing gear and such. An awesome looking plane from the bottom and back up.

    Speed and Ease of Flying

I did have the GPS running so I’m just going to hit stop and read now. So if you can see what my phone says, it only reached 145 km/hour with the cameras on. Not only is this super easy to fly, but this is one of the more easy EDF Jets to fly and I’m surprised. It has such a high speed, but not only that, when you get it in the box, the box is not super large and to assemble this. You could probably do it in all of 10 minutes anyways.

    Assembly and Box Contents

Let me show you what the box looks like and how easy this is to assemble, check this out.

    Unboxing and Assembly

This is the Box. The 80mm integral comes in. As you can see, everything is well packaged. Items in the Box include the owners manual, the main wings, the wings Spar, the horizontal stabilizer, the vertical stabilizer, the main fuse lash and a small bag of screws and linkages.

Now I’ll show you how easy it is to assemble this plane. You must install a total of seven linkage rods between the servo and control horns when completed. It will look like this next insert the wings Spar into the main fuse lash then slide both main Wings into the wings Spar and push the wings into the fuselage. Next, secure the wings in position by using the four included screws to install the horizontal stabilizer.

First, you must connect the two cables coming out of the fuse lash to the two cables coming out of the horizontal stabilizer then push the horizontal stabilizer into position and secure it with the included three screws. Next connect the wire coming out of the vertical stabilizer to the wire coming out of the fuselage, then push the vertical stabilizer into position and secure it in place with the included three screws and that’s it. The assembly is done.
