The AOS Supernova 2207 1980kv Review on Custom Racing Drone Part 1
Testing the Camera Angle and Motors
This is flat and I think the camera angle is pretty close to what I desire. Let’s see how it performs. Upon testing, the drone flies smoothly and I am satisfied with the camera angle. The motors are slightly warm, which is expected after flying. Overall, everything seems to be in good condition and ready for further testing.
Checking the ESC and Standoffs
After stopping the drone, I inspect the Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) and the standoffs. They feel fine, and I have no concerns regarding their functionality. The ESC is heat-resistant, and the standoffs provide stability. With these preliminary checks, I am confident that everything is working well, and we can proceed to the next step.
Impressions of Speed and Efficiency
The first impression of the AOS Supernova 2207 1980kv is that it is incredibly fast. During the test flight, it gave me an impressive 3 minutes and 40 seconds of flight time. This duration does not even include the initial part of the flight, so the total might be around 4 minutes. In comparison, my previous drone only lasted for 3 minutes. This indicates that the AOS Supernova is more efficient, which is a great advantage.
Unfortunately, I do not have a GPS installed on the drone, so I cannot provide an exact measurement of its speed. However, it feels significantly faster compared to my previous drone. The sustained speed and agility make the AOS Supernova a remarkable choice for racing enthusiasts. I am thoroughly impressed with its performance so far.
Future GPS Testing
To have a more accurate measure of the drone’s speed, I plan to install a GPS soon. This will allow me to track and record its top speed. In the next part of this review, I will give an update on how fast the AOS Supernova can go. Stay tuned for the exciting results!
Continuing the Journey
I am eager to explore the capabilities of the AOS Supernova 2207 1980kv further. With its impressive speed and efficiency, this custom racing drone is shaping up to be a top performer. Join me in the next part of this review as we push the limits of this drone and uncover its full potential.
