Introduction
Well, that’s me. I’m a 920 rated random guy who can sometimes throw 430. But, like things fly as they should, I’m not flipping this thing over. I bet a pro could anyways. So this thing’s overstable might depend on the plastic, but I don’t know. I love this plastic Z, so I mean this. Video is sponsored by us, because we mean we just buy discs. So if you want to support us, go watch all of our other videos. We don’t do disc reviews normally. So if you like goofy stuff, go watch not goofy stuff, fun stuff.
Comparing the Drone, Justice, and Pyro
Andrew Presnell, a major winner, is known for throwing the Drone disc with great accuracy. After witnessing his impressive performance at the Champions Cup, I was curious about his disc preference. I’ve always been a fan of overstable mids like the Justice and Pyro, so I decided to compare them to the Drone in a friendly game.
Starting the Comparison
We began by playing eight holes, starting with a hole that required a shot down and to the left a perfect drone shot. Presnell had thrown the Drone numerous times before, but I was a newcomer to this disc. I inquired about what to expect in terms of stability compared to the Justice, and he humorously replied that I should anticipate “half the cow,” implying that the Drone was slightly less beefy than the Justice.
On-Course Performance
As we started throwing, I realized that I still had much to learn about handling the Drone. My first attempt with the Justice resulted in a less than ideal shot that collided with a tree. In comparison, the Pyro seemed to match up nicely with the Drone in terms of control and stability, although it may have had a bit more “cow” than expected.
Shining in Flex Shots
While my initial throws may not have been perfect, I noticed that all three discs excelled in flex shots. The ability to navigate around obstacles and curve the disc towards the target was where these discs truly shined. Despite some mishaps, I could appreciate the unique strengths of each disc and how they complemented different play styles.
Flex Shot with Pyro and Justice
You know what I mean like baby Flex: shots thats my favorite shot to throw with the Pyro and the justice, so maybe just a. We need to find a Flex Shot hole. This slot, for me, is like a really nice slot to have for the baby like Flex Shot. You know a little s shape. I really like throwing that with these, so I wonder if that’s going to be similar with this cuz, it is Beefy and it feels pretty good A little weird, maybe a little deep, but I’m going to do that here. I’m going to throw it a little bit on, Annie yeah downhill, pretty much Straight Ahead, yeah lots of stuff. In the way I mean I’m, going to doink a tree, so just be prepared, get down there. That is considerably more overstable. I think that’s. What I’m? Looking for right in the mud – oh yeah, that’s putting I don’t know why I’m throwing this again, but you know you have to let’s see if it’s got to skip is that stupid, suck drone putt hey? I need like to see what this thing’s got. It was a putter all along it was. I knew it next hole is a forehand hole, I’m very comfortable, throwing these forehand uh after two throws with the Drone, I think, I’m very comfortable, throwing a forehand with the Drone. Holy cow. Well, go Justice first, just for funsies. You know what the flight numbers are on it.
The Surprising Choice
I don’t. Actually, I believe it’s the Whole Cow, which I don’t know where that one comes into play, but you’re absolutely wrong hold on what did I not do my research? Am I stupid? It is the Whole Cow. Well yeah, but the Whole Cow one was throwing me off. I was like maybe it’s dead straight with, like a big finish, I had no idea. Well, I mean it makes sense cuz it is. It is decently overstable. I mean it’s stable compared to these two, it’s really nice. Why does he throw this thing all the time? I think, base plastic beat it in a rock it’s like, maybe but like no, no overstable discs are a need like, but these are like slightly beat in. I would not compare these two. The same just off flight numbers, but I mean maybe a flight? I don’t, so maybe it is the Whole Cow. I was mistaken. I am sorry, it is the Whole Cow, a dang. I like that yeah pyro that’s, a putt now drone jeez. I had no idea. I feel so misinformed, what is that stupid? Word misinformed, yeah? I was like dang there’s no way uninformed, I it was no one did those are all terrible woo that was terrible, good thing, it’s not a putting video it’s a drone video. I seriously thought this was like more multi-purpose, if I’m being honest, it’s a straight utility disc, pretty much but like that’s okay, it’s so funny that Pros like find their favorite molds or, like you do too and they’re just like not what you would expect next To is right between that white tree I’m going to put this on much more end, a lot of flex you’re going to see.
The First Impressions
If this thing has all the bite coming back well, see I’m excited now. I think it will… I’m excited now. I just got more excited for this disc now than what you thought it turned into – like, “oh. I can actually use this and show it off and do good. I’m like, it’s just now a funnest.”
The Flight Characteristics
The Drone makes no sense because this thing doesn’t want to fly skip in the PO. If he got the skip, it was going in. Ah man, that thing flew awesome! The colors were crazy-looking. Bonk, I guess this hold – is a flex shot. It is a flex shot, it’s always been a flex shot. It’s nice to see that Justice actually come out of a shot, it’s super soft. You did that Drone flies, yeah.
The Element of Surprise
Now that I know what it is, gosh dang it! Thing about disc reviews and things like you’ve never thrown the Drone. You just don’t know, and you can’t trust anybody online. I feel like, well, I knew because I already can’t trust pros either because they’re better than you. I thought you knew so I say anything, know I know you were just like, “I thought. No, no. I thought it was overstable.” Let me but like that was awesome. That was beef. If you are now just finding out like me that the Drone is not what it what I thought it was like, let me know, or maybe I’m just on an island by myself. Hey guys, the next hole is another flex shot because I’ve never had a disc like this that I needed to throw – I usually just kind of go straight at it, but it might actually be a lot.

Enjoying the Experience
Despite some initial challenges, Presnell expressed his enjoyment of throwing the Drone disc. He described it as a fun disc and shared his surprise at how much he was enjoying using it during the round.
Bagging Multiple Drones
Presnell mentioned that he carries multiple Drone discs in his bag, indicating the significance of this disc in his game. He speculated that he must beat one disc in, which suggests he values the consistent flight characteristics of the Drone.
Drone Disc Review
Im trying to tell the hole. Shush’s left. So I’m going to go right Gap with the Drone. Okay, well, it’s goofy Jordan. You say fun; it’s totally goofy, it’s a mix of both drone shot, get lucky through the trees, not that lucky. I don’t want to keep going to get it, but I have to do. I want to say, take two again. Take six. Take six, take two – just kidding, it’s just take two, all right. I threw that soft, but I mean it’s up there, it’s fine, it’s fine. Oh yeah, buckets dude should have been a pyro, should have been a Justice, should have been a drone. Ew hey next do is up there. I can’t get there with the mid. So what I’m going to do is I’m going to hype myself up by throwing these first and then throw this as hard as I can. It’s not too far, there’s just a lot in the way, so I don’t care where these go; I’m just throwing them hard.
Andrew Presnell’s Unexpected Favorite Disc

A Closer Look at the Disc’s Flight
Presnell further elaborated on the disc’s flight characteristics, mentioning that it performed well for shots requiring no flex. He emphasized its stability, noting that it was ideal for shots that required a straight and reliable trajectory. Despite its beefy nature, he mentioned that it was not suitable for certain holes on the course.
Presnell’s Final Thoughts on the Disc
As Presnell wrapped up the review, he admitted that he would not use the disc for certain shots on the course. However, he appreciated its unique flight characteristics and stability for specific types of throws. Overall, he seemed impressed by the disc’s performance, despite its limitations.
