    Included Motors and Initial Impressions

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Meps FPV motors sent to me by Meking. While I don’t have much time to film a detailed review, I wanted to share my experience with these motors. It’s important to note that I am not a professional motor reviewer, so if you’re looking for in-depth analyses, I recommend checking out channels like Ryan Harrold or Joshua Bwell. However, if you’re interested in hearing about my personal experience, read on.

I received four motors from Meking, and I also purchased an additional two for a total of six. The packaging was simple and came in a plain cardboard box. Let’s dive into the specifications and initial impressions of the motors I received.

    Motor Specifications

The specific motors I received are the SZ2207 1750KV in a fluorescent green color. I intentionally chose this motor and KV rating because I prefer the 2207 size over the 2306 for my 5-inch quads. In my opinion, the 2207 motors have a larger stator volume compared to the 2306. Additionally, I appreciate the efficiency of the 1750KV rating, although I must admit it may just be a placebo effect. I haven’t conducted any tests, so my perception is solely based on personal experience.

    Performance and Flight Experience

When it comes to performance, the Meps motors have exceeded my expectations. I found them to be smooth and reliable, providing consistent power throughout my flights. While they may not be designed for hardcore or fast flying, they excel in efficiency, which is a crucial factor for me. I’ve enjoyed using these motors in various freestyle flights and have been satisfied with their overall performance.

    Build Quality and Durability

The build quality of the Meps motors appears to be excellent. They have a sturdy construction and feel durable, which is important for withstanding crashes and minor mishaps. I haven’t encountered any issues with the motors so far, and they seem to hold up well even after multiple flights. It’s worth noting that durability can vary depending on individual usage and flying conditions, but I’ve been pleased with the longevity of these motors.

This is a nice looking print uh! You have here a barcode and on the other side are the details. Sz 227 1750 KV florescent green, that’s it. So I’m going to open this one and show you what is inside this box. You have already probably seen meing sent Motors to a lot of people, so this may not be the first time, but for me this is the first time so when you open this box, it’s a sliding cover and inside you see the motor look at that nice Uh, Lars and green, this is pretty uh normal uh type of packaging. Usually the other motors come in just a plastic bag and no foam. This one has foam. I remember the silver t. Motor vux vux has only a plastic bag inside a cardboard box. No any uh foam and they included uh silica gel. This is a very nice addition. It keeps the moisture out inide the environment, where the motor is stored to prevent the rusting in case you store them for spare for a long time.

    What’s in the Box?

Then in the Box. You also have some screws, it looks like you have a, as is this m2.5 or it looks like two two mdle uh hex drivers and you have a locking nut for your propellers and you have a spare screw and washer and an O ring for your motor Bell most probably okay, there thats it and then the rest of the box is only the motor itself.

    Quality Control

Upon unboxing the Meps FPV motor, it is evident that quality control is a priority for the company. A small card is included, indicating that each motor has undergone a thorough inspection before being packaged. This attention to detail is reassuring for consumers, as it ensures that the product is in good condition and all components are present.

    Inside the Box

Opening the box, you will find only the motor and a piece of foam padding. The motor itself exudes a premium feel, with vibrant colors that are even more impressive in person than in photos or videos. The fluorescent green shade is eye-catching and the motor feels solid and well-built. This particular motor is my first from Mepsking, and I am immediately impressed with the brand’s attention to quality and design.

    Design and Features

The Meps FPV motor features the brand’s logo prominently displayed on one side, while the other side showcases a stamp indicating the size and KV rating. From the bottom, you can see the screw that secures the motor. In addition to the motor itself, the package also includes a spare screw, a washer, and an O-ring for convenience.

    Unique White Wires

One interesting aspect of the Meps FPV motor is the color of its wires. Instead of the traditional black, the wires are white. While this may be a departure from the norm for some, I find it to be a refreshing change. The white wires give the motor a clean and sleek appearance, and they contrast nicely against the vibrant green casing. It is a small detail, but it adds a touch of uniqueness to the overall design.

    Meps FPV Motor Review

In this article, we will take a closer look at the Meps FPV motor and explore its features and performance. Note that this review is based on personal observations and testing and not from a professional motor reviewer.

    Design and Durability

The Meps FPV motor features spikes on top of the bell, which serve the purpose of holding the propeller in place and preventing it from spinning off. This design feature is particularly useful when the motors become loose during flight. However, there is a possibility that the spikes could create a crack in the propellers, especially if the material used is brittle. Examination of the propellers shows that they have spikes that leave a dimple on the bottom when compressed with a nut. While this may not be a major concern, it’s worth considering when using the motor.

    Shaft Material

The motor’s shaft appears to be made from titanium and is hollow in construction. This material choice suggests that the motor is designed to be durable and lightweight. Mounting the Meps FPV motor on a 5-inch quadcopter, as we did during testing, revealed that the titanium shaft performed well. However, it is important to note that this review focuses on personal experience rather than an extensive analysis of thrust performance.

    Meps FPV Motor Review

    Bearings

Let’s talk about the bearings of the Meps FPV motor. The model is l940 z, z. The “zz” means that both sides of the bearing are sealed. If you see only one “z,” it means that one side is sealed and the other side is not. The seal refers to a metal cover that prevents dust and dirt from entering the bearing. In some larger bearings, you can see the balls inside, but in this case, there is a metal cover. The use of two “zs” indicates that the bearings are made by NMB.

    Installation

Now let’s move on to the installation process. I will mount this motor on my 5in quad, specifically my freestyle quad. I always keep one motor for freestyle and another for cinematic purposes. The installation is straightforward, and I will share my experience with you.

    The Propellers and Thread Locker

During the installation process, I also noticed something interesting about the Meps FPV motor. The threads on the motors have paint on them, which acts like a thread locker. This is something unique that I haven’t observed in other motors, and I wanted to share it with you in this review.

Thank you for reading, and stay tuned for more updates on the Meps FPV motor review!

    Meps FPV Motor Review

Today we are going to take a look at Meps FPV motors and see how they perform. I recently got my hands on these motors and I’m excited to test them out on my freestyle drone. Let’s dive right into the review!

    Mounting the Motors

I started off by mounting the motors on my drone. It was a straightforward process and didn’t take much time. Once the motors were mounted, I wanted to check if they were spinning in the right direction. To my surprise, all of the motors were spinning in the wrong direction. I quickly made the necessary adjustments and got them spinning the right way.

    Testing the Motors

With the motors properly mounted, it was time to test them out. I powered up my drone and connected it to my computer for monitoring. I was a bit nervous as I didn’t want to damage anything, but I proceeded with caution.

Upon starting the motors, I immediately noticed that they were quite powerful. I decided to do a few tests to see how they performed under different conditions. The motor temperature was within a normal range, neither too cool nor too hot.

    Flight Performance

After the initial tests, it was time to take the drone for a flight. I made sure to check the surroundings for any obstacles or people nearby. Once I confirmed that the coast was clear, I armed the motors and took off.

The Meps motors exhibited impressive performance during the flight. They were punchy and responsive, providing quick and precise movements. I decided to put them through some maneuvers and they did not disappoint.

    Comparing to Other Motors

While I initially didn’t plan on comparing these motors to others, I couldn’t help but notice how well they performed. In terms of power and agility, they surpassed some of the other motors I have used in the past. I was particularly impressed with their overall performance.

It’s worth noting that every motor has its own strengths and weaknesses, so it’s important to choose one that suits your specific needs and preferences. However, based on my experience, I would highly recommend giving Meps FPV motors a try.

In conclusion, the Meps FPV motors proved to be a great addition to my freestyle drone. They are reliable, powerful, and deliver excellent performance. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced pilot, these motors will not disappoint.

    Meps FPV Motor Review

If you’re searching for high-quality FPV motors for your freestyle drone, look no further than Meps King. In this review, we’ll take a closer look at the performance and features of the Meps FPV Motors.

    Impressive Performance

During a recent test run, the Meps FPV Motors showcased their impressive performance. Despite the congested space, these motors were able to handle the obstacles with ease. The prop wash was minimal, and any issues encountered were most likely due to user error rather than a fault of the motors themselves.

    Tuning and Stability

One slight drawback noticed during the test was the tuning in this particular squad. The motors seemed to have a draft tune, which could affect overall stability. However, this can be easily rectified by adjusting the tuning settings to suit your flying style and preferences.

    High-Quality Construction

The Meps FPV Motors are built with durability in mind. With their sturdy construction, these motors can withstand crashes and impacts without compromising performance. This makes them a reliable choice for FPV enthusiasts who want long-lasting and robust motors for their drones.

    Recommended Product

Out of the Meps King product range, one motor, in particular, stood out during the review: the Meps FPV Motor 21.9. This motor delivered exceptional performance and proved to be a perfect fit for the reviewer’s setup. If you’re looking for a reliable and high-performing motor, the Meps FPV Motor 21.9 is definitely worth considering.

    Conclusion

In conclusion, the Meps FPV motors provided by Meking have impressed me with their performance, efficiency, and durability. While I initially received four motors for free to try out, I purchased two additional ones because I was pleased with their overall capabilities. If you’re looking for reliable and efficient motors for your freestyle drone, I recommend considering the Meps motors.

In conclusion, the Meps FPV Motor comes in a well-packaged box with foam to protect the motor during storage and transportation. The addition of silica gel is a great feature to prevent rusting when the motors are stored for a long time. The included screws, hex drivers, locking nut, and spare parts provide convenience for installation and maintenance. Overall, this motor is a great choice for freestyle drone enthusiasts who value quality and attention to detail.

The Meps FPV motor from Mepsking certainly lives up to expectations in terms of quality control and design. It offers a premium feel and vibrant colors that are sure to impress. Whether you prefer the traditional black wires or appreciate the clean look of white wires, this motor caters to both preferences. Overall, I am satisfied with my first motor from Mepsking and look forward to testing its performance in my freestyle drone.

In conclusion, the Meps FPV motor offers an interesting design with spike features to secure the propellers. The use of a titanium shaft enhances durability and reduces weight. While this review does not provide in-depth performance analysis, it aims to provide insights based on personal observations and testing. For a comprehensive review, it is recommended to refer to motor experts and professional reviewers who specialize in testing and analyzing thrust performance.

In conclusion, the Meps FPV Motors offered impressive performance, reliable construction, and the standout Meps FPV Motor 21.9 proved to be a top performer. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced FPV pilot, these motors are definitely worth checking out.
