Unboxing the FIMI X8 Mini V2 Drone from AliExpress
Today, we will be unboxing the FIMI X8 Mini V2 Drone that I purchased from AliExpress. I am excited to see what comes in the package and share my complete review.
Packaging and Delivery
The drone arrived well-packaged, although the box did have a slight dent. I hope that it hasn’t caused any damage to the drone itself. I bought it from the official FIMI store on AliExpress and it took 28 days to arrive. Unfortunately, I was also taxed with a fee of R$105, but considering the price of the drone, it seems reasonable. In Brazil, this drone is quite expensive, so I’m hopeful that it’s worth it.
Unboxing the Contents
Let’s open the box and see what’s inside. I believe the manual will be included in Portuguese, since it’s my native language. I also hope they have included an English manual for those who don’t speak Portuguese. The package comes with the drone, the controller, and a few accessories.
The Controller and Accessories
The controller looks great and is designed to hold your smartphone in the middle for an optimal viewing experience. I expect the sticks to be of high quality and easy to use. There is also a small key for changing the propellers and a spare set of propellers included. I noticed that everything is securely packed, so there shouldn’t be any missing parts.
The Drone Itself
The drone is well-constructed and feels sturdy. It has sensors, a power button, and a battery slot. Let’s take a closer look at the battery. It is a 2200mAh battery and should provide decent flight time. There is also a slot for a memory card to store your recordings.
Setting Up and Charging
I will film the setup process, so you can follow along. After setting everything up, we will charge the drone. It’s important to remove the gimbal protector before turning on the drone. Failure to do so can potentially damage the gimbal. Always remember to remove it carefully.
