To start flying the DJI Mini Pro 3, first, make sure you hold down the power button until it stays on. Once the drone is powered on, you will see a message on the screen saying “unable to take off” due to no GPS signal. Don’t worry, this will change soon.

Look on the screen for an area that will turn green. This indicates that the drone has successfully detected the required number of satellites (12 or more) for GPS connection. When you see the message “Home Point updated,” it means that the GPS has connected. The same goes for the remote control.

To control the elevation of the drone, use the left joystick. Pushing the joystick downwards will make the drone descend, while pushing it upwards will make it ascend.

Once the drone is powered on, find an open space with sufficient clearance and no obstacles. To take off, push both joysticks inward and toward each other. The Mini Pro 3 will start its propellers and hover in place. Use the left joystick to control the altitude of the drone, and the right joystick to maneuver it in different directions.

Landing the drone is just as simple. Bring the Mini Pro 3 to a hover at a suitable height and location, then push the left joystick downwards to descend smoothly. The drone will land gently on the ground. Remember to always land with caution and avoid landing on unstable surfaces or in harsh weather conditions.

    Mastering Flight Controls

Once you have taken off, it’s time to familiarize yourself with the flight controls of the DJI Mini Pro 3. The left joystick controls the altitude and vertical movements of the drone. Similarly, pushing the joystick to the left or right will enable the drone to move in those respective directions. Take your time to get comfortable with these controls and practice flying in open spaces before attempting more complex maneuvers.

The DJI Mini Pro 3 comes equipped with a camera gimbal that allows you to capture incredible aerial footage. Controlling the camera gimbal is effortless with the Mini Pro 3’s remote controller. By using the designated buttons, you can adjust the camera angle, zoom in and out, and capture stunning footage from various heights and perspectives.

To tilt the camera gimbal up, press the button that corresponds to the upward movement. This will help you capture breathtaking aerial views or to get a better look at a specific area. Conversely, if you want to tilt the camera gimbal down, press the button that corresponds to the downward movement.
